BS noob here. How would splitting the tab work? Would everyone pay for their own bottles and split the taxes and tip? Or would we share bottles to cut the cost down?

I was thinking we would just pick a few bottles and split em, that way everyone is paying the same amount. Unless you want your own bottle or whatever. I'm sure we could figure it out either way. Amount per person I would like to figure out well ahead of time so everyone can budget accordingly. I haven't done bs at xs but several years ago at rain they took the money for the bottles pretty much right away so before we go in we can meet up and everyone can throw in their cash so we don't have to worry about splitting up the bill inside the club. I def want to get that stuff taken care of before we start drinking, otherwise it can cause problems. Plus, don't wanna have to think about anything once we are dancing the night away!

I would say plan on 30% for waitress tip and tax. Then whatever we decide for our host tip (no need to go too high here because we are not going to be looking for a better table or anything) and a plan on few bucks for the security guys or bus boy or whoever else at your discretion.

OK sounds good! As long as we dont go "crazy" with the bottles we are in!

Yeah, min # of bottles for sure. And everyone must show up ahead of time to meet up and throw down cash before we go inside. I figure we should also exchange phone #'s at some point before we get down there. Anyone know a good spot to meet up near XS?

Calvin Harris is at XS on the Saturday night in question. He is one of my favourite DJs. He plays EDM, but it's got disco/jazzy roots. He does have several top 40 songs, with artists like Rhianna, Kelis & Nee-Yo. Listen to him on Youtube - he's pretty great. I believe my wife and I are in on the BS with Liz and her group that night - hope to see you there.

Ok, terrible weekend! Had some unexpected expenses come up that put a major dent in my vegas fund. Still trying to figure out a way to afford bs this night because it was the one thing I really wanted to do!

Anyway, as of now I'm still planning on doing it up right sat night (plus regardless there are a lot of people now so i will go ahead and book it at least) so here's what I have so far

Theosam3 - 1 guy 1 girl
Loaf115 - 1 guy 1 girl
Gsuwinsudont - 2 guys
My group - 2 guys 2 girls

10 total, 6 guys 4 girls

I will text Ryan today or tomorrow to verify but I would like to go ahead and get a table with a 3 bottle min set up (1 bottle is $575). As long as we all agree, we can just pick 3 bottles (as long as they are $575 cause some are more - personally I like captain) and split the bill equally between each person. Does anyone have any ideas where we can meet up around XS? I've never been to XS but maybe there's a bar or lounge or something that's close and easy to find?

Cost breakdown as I see it, correct me if you think I'm wrong...

Bottles = $1725
Waitress tax and tip (30%) = $517.5
Host tip = ? $200 ?
Bus boy/security tip = $57.50 (just to make the # an even split)

Total $2500
So $250/person

Not 100% sure on the host tip, don't wanna be cheap but never had to handle this before. We are not looking for any extra service or better table or anything so I think $200 should be enough. Let me know what you guys think.

The numbers look fine to us. I'd suggest at least one Vodka bottle (spouse prefers Kettle One to Goose, but she'll drink anything). Captain is ok with me. I also love relatively cheap, blended scotches (Johnny Walker red , etc) with ice and water, in case there are a bunch of scotch and water or scotch and soda drinkers in the group.

You guys/girls could meet at the parsol up/down bar. Its in Wynn not Encore by the main entrance so if you get dropped off by taxi it works. Or a little bit closer to Xs would be the lounge by the sportsbook in Wynn. Sportsbooks are always easy to find. I am sure there is a couple lounges/bars in Encore but I am less familiar with them.

Ok, looks like theosam3 is out for bs this night. Anyone else wanna join us? 3 bottles between 8 people is gunna be quite a bit more. Should I try to get two bottles and have 2 people pay cover? Ryan said they are really strict with the # of people/bottle on big name dj nights. $300+ per person isn't really in my budget, especially now since my Vegas fund has been cut in half :-( or, I could pull out and do presale tickets and you guys can do the table on your own. Idk, just really wanna do bs and I love Calvin Harris so I am going, regardless! Never been to xs but it seems like having a table is a big deal there because of the crowds.

I just wanna party in Vegas right now! Guess I'll have settle for a couple of glasses of wine at my house :-)

Well if we're going to do bottles, we'd at least prefer a bit of a group to do them with. I am ok with two bottles plus two pre-sales. We could just buy extra drinks ourselves if needed. I'd rather have a table as a base with a few people in our age range than try to wander the club fairly aimlessly looking for a place to set our drinks while dancing.

Yeah, I'd rather have a table for sure but $250/person was pushing my budget and $300 is just too much. The other couple in our group have never been to Vegas clubs, are not big into edm, and are a little hesitant to spend $$ on bs, so I'll prob be covering part of their share (further denting my Vegas funds), though they did pay for our hotel so I can't really complain. I like to hang out with groups of people also, hence the reason I started this thread! Im pretty social and outgoing. My bf friends and my best friend, a guy, says im the perfect wingwoman, always talking to random people and good looking ladies upon their request :-)

If pantlessbellman is still in then we have 8 in our group and with 2 bottles we can tip a little less so it would be around $200/person (I'll break down the pricing later once he confirms yes or no). I know 2 bottles will change our table location but im not too worried about that, as long as we are inside and can see the dj booth. Then when the bottles run out, those who still want drinks can just buy em. The other 2 in our group are not quite the drinkers me and my bf are, though I would like to remember the night so I'm gunna have to pace myself!
