Last man standing!!! (Potential) solo Vegas adventure -- July 21-23

So, here's the deal...I had five or six guys who were all geeked up to go to Vegas.

But these FLAKY F-CKERS all backed out for one reason or another...so I'm the last
one standing. I've got a such a good deal on the flight from PHX and a SWEET hotel
deal at New York, New York (thanks to Chuck's thread!!) that I don't want to cancel.

Since I just got back from Vegas one month ago, (see fat, ugly dudes with hairy backs
thread) this will probably a smaller budget trip than the last one. But you never know...

Should I bother...or should I pack it in and fold like the rest of those LAME-O's?

Fuck that Hunter, my boys always know its ride or die and the show will go on...It ain't like you're doing mad BS anyway and you're a Vegas Vet, you know where to go ... it ain't a big holiday weekend, so the prices aren't gonna be crazy, you can get the Vcard and that'll help out a lot (I used it this past weekend...worked like a charm and that's during the IDW holiday)... Most of the time you close the deal solo anyways...My vote is to go and don't look back.

GO - hell...solo trips can be better. no babysitting. Ton of people there to party with. The only thing I hated about solo trips - was eating alone =/

I agree you should go. I love solo trips, especially to awesome spots like Vegas and it's real easy to make friends!!! Plus there's an air of mystery about you, women will wonder "I wonder why he's alone, I must find out." And I second what kman said, when you meet a girl and her friend, call yourself Jack Tripper, except you get to do a threesome. AWESOME!!!!

Well, I've decided to pull the plug on the trip this weekend. Had to spend some
$$ on trying to refinance the house and blah, blah, blah. So that's the bad news,
the good news is it looks like plenty of JCers are going up on Labor Day Weekend.
I know that the JCers know how to do Vegas right (not like my LAME buddies who
backed out) so I think I will concentrate my efforts on getting out for that weekend.
