Former local back in town

The story: Former local here (North LV) and bringing a buddy with me Dec 16-19th. Haven't been to any clubs in a long time, just hit the bars when I'm back in town. Buddy's only time in Vegas was with family staying at Circus Circus. He wants to hit a good club one night and a upscale strip club too.

The plan: Arrive Friday @ 1pm...have reservations for strip view room @ the Excalibur. I always end up staying at the Excalibur for some reason. We got the Partyscape package for this trip. Friday night - bar hop the strip, show him around, end up @ Spearmint Rhino. (limo service?) Saturday night - Cathouse. I'm an avid hookah smoker and the idea of a bar/club/hookah lounge sounds great. Sunday - see what's leftover from Friday/Saturday.

Since I haven't been to a club in Vegas in years, just used to go to raves, I'm not sure if this will be the blast my buddy's looking for. He wants to have a good time, meet girls, the usual. Any tips/suggestions would be great. Also we're both coming off a deployment, so this will be our way off blowing off steam from months of being at sea.

In case we don't find much at the bars on Friday, what's a good club that night? I assume all of them but don't wanna be paying the $40+ cover that I'm seeing just to find out the club is a ton dudes and $20 for GG/RB.

Don't worry amount the money. It's better to be in the club than outside. Go to XS, tryst, marquee or surrender and you'll be fine and they'll be girls there.
