What AOD features would you like to see in new site?

The new JackColton.com is filled with interactive, member-generated, reviews and guides for 32 major cities around the world. And, without spilling the beans on the specifics, we have dramatically improved features where Yelp and others are lacking. Talking seriously powerful planning tools.

That said, I'd like to tie AOD interactively into the main site.

What ideas does everyone have? Any kind of wish list?

Specific Event Attendee Lists for AOD Members (i.e. Deadmau5 at Encore Beach Club on Memorial Day): Members click on the event, mark "attending" like on Facebook.
-There could be an add-on where there's sub-groups of that group that are going in together on bottles/tables.

Jack Colton Rewards Program: AOD members provide reviews and helpful insight for the general community, and the +1's translate into some sort of tiered rewards system.

AOD Live CHAT!!!!
Streaming music chosen by AOD (Duane can provide the mix list!)
AOD photo Gallery
AOD current events list (meetups, etc, whats going on right now with AOD and any future planned trips like August AODiego for example)
A cool map like feature that some phone apps have but integrated into the website so that you can see where AOD members are in Vegas real time.

• Members profile is a must! Add in sections where they can list the events they have attended etc.
  
• Also a place to order a dog tag after a new member attends an AOD event.
  
• Ability to contact members with ease. The regional coordinators need to be able to blast people in their group, and also mass blast all of AOD for events.
• Rules and guideline section for people that want to be a part of AOD
• Add in a terminology section. A lof of people don't know what a SHAW or a grenade whistle is still...
• Overall AOD should be more renegade vs the business end of JC

Definitely some sort of member planning for events/meetups... my updating on the calendar's been lagging lately and I don't think Google Calendar can provide metrics of any sort.

Streaming music might provide some legal/copyright problems... But skype chats would be nice - especially with so many front-facing phones now!

Dedicated page to AOD will be awesome. All the member profiles, past events and upcoming events section, pics/videos section. Integrated chat option for the members. Section for AOD approved clubs, hotels, restaurants , drinks etc. Music playlist/jukebox that plays all the AOD approved bangers (if there is no copyright issues).

Love this one I would like to see a mini flyer for each event that pops up when you mouseover it. I think that it should be manditory for each host on the host list to be an active participant in the forums and should be informed on how to post, include the weekly flyers for events, the chat rooms are also a place where hosts should be actively participating. Mikey T your a bad ass dude let your fellow hosts know whats up on here. You have been so active its awesome and apprecitated. I remember telling hosts about this site and having them kinda scoff but now the ones on here are like woah this is the demographic the AODemographic is what I call it.

I must say one really cool thing that I have been using is Beluga Chat one which we call AOD Headquarters. It was very cool to see the dots on the map move from all over the US and World to the strip in Las Vegas. And it allows you to keep your privacy by simply turning off the location. Videos on how these types of apps work would be very helpful for those that arnt that tech savvy.

Love the idea of rewarding the people who keep this site going. Like the idea of rewarding Royale with a 10K chant at Electric Daisy Carnival this weekend Table 16. I must say rewarding those who make these forums is a must.

One think that I want to see is the FACEBOOK Integration. It will be very easy to spread the word to your friends on facebook if its integrated and you can instantly share posts that are awesome.

With Google +1 starting up.. i would recommend creating a jackcolton.com group ASAP .. as well as Jack getting an invite and start using that social network. If i get an invite i will forward one to Jack. I received one but i guess i didnt activate it fast enough that they closed registration.. Google is trying to hype it up.

I think it's safe to say the penetration success rate (PSR)of JC.com is double that of eharmony.com or match.com If that won't create new membership, what will?

I think different areas should have specific AOD pages to post content (relatively) freely. AODiego, OG AOD, AODenver, AOD NYC etc etc all have their own membership pages, events, message board, - what I'm imagining is like the setup of a typical "guild".

The only possibly problem I see with having things like "Grenade Gallery" and Forced Member Photos is anonymity, I think most of us mods have even requested photos of ourselves to be removed from the forums before. We've dealt with users/members posting content and then begging for it to be removed. Terms of Agreement might need a refurbish .

Going on a post I saw in the forums today, no one seems to have a good map of the strip and all the club locations. If you could get a really good one drawn up I think that would attract a lot of visitors.
