There is a little tradition that was started last year for mAyOD called SHAW which means shots heard around the world. Last year we started doing it about 2 months out and this year with so much going on we kind of lagged on getting it started and we started it last week on a smaller scale.
What SHAW consists of is a shot is taken Friday at 0:00 E.S.T. (Midnight Eastern time for those who don't know military time) by anyone and prefferably everyone going to mAyOD and considers themselfs part of the Army of Drinkers.
It just so happens that today is Friday.... and midnight is only a few hours away. I invite everyone to participate in this tonight and keep it going up until opening ceremonies. There are quite a few AODers that are already doing it, lets get more on board!
Post up on Twitter and/or Facebook when you do it and if possible throw a picture up too! I'll be on Twitter and Facebook posting it up; my links are in my sig. I know @AODHQ will be tweeting this as well. Let's get as many people doing this as we can from now until mAyOD!!!
