Flights/hotel excluded, how much do you budget (and spend) for a 3/4 day trip.

I'm not cheap, but definiately price aware. Not an outrageous drinker so I don't get too loose with the credit card.

If I can do a 3 day trip for $1500 I am pretty happy. $300/night for bottle service and then $200/day for drinks/food. Not a gambler so that helps (but also ensures I don't go home in the black).

Of course, varies by the size of the group I am with. Historically I have gone with 3-7 guys. Though my wife and I are headed there this weekend and I am ensure I will spend the same amount with probably half the drinking!

I went about once a month last year and have been 5 times this year. I usually spend around $500-$1000 a trip.

    $1000 for planned/hosted party trips
    $500-700 for normal trips

This includes driving/hotel/food (drive from SoCal)

I usually split gas/hotel with a friend or I will spend a night or two at relatives/friends houses (grew up in vegas)

For my hosted parties I tell everyone to budget around $600 just for the fun ($200-300 for room, 300-400 for club)

Realistically most of my ~8 day trips I'm somewhere around this (all values averaged from both cheap and "expensive" days):

$20 on alcohol (~6 shots of bourbon from the bottle in my hotel room, a can or 2 of Mike's Harder, and a few $1s tip for an open bar my girlfriend might have or if I'm gambling, very rarely a $11-12 Heineken in a club or at a pool)

$15 on food (McDonald's one and a half times on average, rarely somewhere nicer)

$15 on taxis (usually just going to a club, with walking the strip back, possibly more)

$20 on a pool party (typically free but I'll pay a lot more to go somewhere nice once a trip)

$0 on nightclub (guest listing is your friend when you are traveling as a couple)

$2 for the maid (sometimes more per day, sometimes less depending on if we leave it tidy or are in a rush to leave)

$2 for the bell hop to hold or moves bags (usually trying to save a couple of those shots of bourbon for later in the night in a bag somewhere)

$10 (strip club once a trip, possibly another random inexpensive show)

So somewhere under $100 a day, excluding travel, hotel, and gambling costs, on average, with some days as low as $25 if I'm partying near where I'm staying.

$1000-1500 aggregate per day on dayclubs/nightclubs (but only if they have grey goose)
$150-200 per night for my share of a hotel room (splitting with another person)
        ~$100 for food

The rest is immaterial in the grand scheme of things. [I also don't really gamble.]

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

This last trip was the first time I really gambled and that added about 500 for the trip.

but usually, with everything including BS a couple times at a tier 1, I'm usually right around 2k for the trip excluding airfare.

I only spend money on the flight. I just figure out which JC members have the biggest budgets, and then mooch off of them. I Love this thread.

                        I mooch off Dnix.

                        Ocam, I love the sig.
That being said, if you're asking if it can be done, you're probably not at the level where you could pull it off.

You want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

It's funny this was brought up right now. I'm going with a large group of people this month, with some of the people having it be their first time so they asked for approximate price breakdowns to get an idea of how expensive it could/would be.

                            https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...kgbhBA/pubhtml

That comes out to about $100 a day, excluding hotel and airfare/driving costs, if you include the last day as a half day. This ended up being right around what I predicted a trip typically costs me.

I thought I over planned trips...but you planned what time you were going to have a beer O.o
