Thinking about seeing Roger Sanchez while up there this Friday. Anyone have any feedback on the place? Yelp is all over the place on reviews. If anyone has a promoter to contact, looks like bottle service is the only way to go.

I haven't been in about 3 months or so, I can certainly say that it holds the same reputation as that of it's Vegas counterpart, in the sense that it's by no means the latest or greatest club in the city but has it's loyal followers and is still a good night out. Perhaps more than Vegas the thing about NYC clubs (even the older ones) the doormen can be dicks for no reason at all even if you looking to spend. I would definitely go with bottle service. I asked around my office so should have a host number for you in the next day or so...

after marquee nyc remodeled they went to presale tickets- says Ticket holders must arrive before 12:30AM
Headliners usually start around 2am in nyc

lol i had bottle service when i went (and wasn't referring to Marquee in particular),besides i am sure KP3205 was aware of the fact that they went presales (from past posts he seems to be pretty well informed), it seemed like he was asking if going presales was a good experience from what he had been reading (at least that is what i got from the question) as far as that article forget 10 years ago there are definitely clubs in the city (particularly in the meat packing district Chelsea area who haven't made that switch who STILL do some of the same things described in that article, for example AVE. even though its been around FOREVER and places like W.I.P. back when it was open).

Marquee wasn't that bad of a choice. My friend who my wife and I went with and had nothing going on was Roger's former road manager so we got in for free. I ended up buying 1 bottle of Goose for $500 which wasn't bad since it became a last minute why not after dinner and drinks elsewhere with friends.

Was a little empty, which means room for the wife to dance, vs what I expected but his vibe is different vs the EDM scene but the people there get his music set. Will say they do get some very solid acts. Would have loved to be in NY this weekend to catch Andrew Rayel there.
