  • Closed Ciruit Mayweather/Pacquiao Viewing Partys?

    Hey Everyone,
A group of us, (and im sure a good amount of you guys) will be going to Vegas for the big fight. Unfortunatly, we each dont have 5k per ticket to drop on a nosebleed seat nor do we want to. So the next best thing is to get some tickets to a closed circuit viewing party where a group of us can have a reserved seating and be able to order food, drinks, bottles or what have you.. Have any of you guys expericed this? Is it worth it? and which hotels offers it? Any feedback would be great!

    Thanks!

The tickets haven't even went on sale so that 5k a ticket is just pure speculation and meaningless if nothing in hand.
Watch stubhub once they come out.

the arena holds 16,800 and for mayweather-canelo 26,000 closed circuit tickets were sold at the various ballrooms around town.
In terms of places to watch
strip clubs will do viewing parties
    restaurants/bars will do viewing parties
some will charge admission and food is extra some have a min spend.

We are staying At MGM so I hate to leave to watch the closed circuit elsewhere, but just checked YouTube and the ballroom viewing looks pretty lame compared to the Mandalay Bay atmosphere. That was just a quick search, anyone have personal experience?

MGM is absolutely horrible and will be a mess. Stay away from that property unless you have tix to the actual fight. Check my more detailed post in the nightclub section.

Mandalay is great and plenty of room. I also liked Hyde at the Bellagio for Mayweather's most recent fight. Alot of my facebook friends from high school are going so we're trying to organize a mini reunion. Looking at probably getting together and watching the fight at Aria.

I believe the cheapest face value for actual fight tix are $1000 and only about a couple hundred will be released via ticketmaster. The resale value/profit from snagging one of these is so high it's not even worth trying. The computer nerds will be out in force with their "bots" to snag all the tix in milliseconds from the ticketmaster site when they go on sale. Yes they are real, same thing happens with the air jordans when they are released on nike.com.
