How do you guys fund your trips to LV? Do you sell stuff on the side to finance or do you just save up & go? PM me if you want or you can just post here.

    depends on who you ask.
Some people are filthy rich and just go
Some people have frequent flyer miles and etc
Some people have long credit limits
    Some people save their money
Some people go during the week when its cheaper
Some people live in California so the drive alone saves them HUNDREDS (lucky bastards)
and yes SOME PEOPLE save their hard earned cash to go to Vegas maybe once a year to ball the fuck out and happily waste it in less than a week lol (that would be me)

Being in the UK I'll never be able to go regularly... but for my first trip last year it was a combination of saving and credit card(s)!

I try to go once every 3 months with friends (next trip is nov 21st/22nd)

I usually put $100 a pay check in a cash box and leave it there as my party fund. Sometimes it turns into rainy day fund but last couple times ive made good use of it in Vegas.

By the time my vegas trip is ready I have around $700 (live in cali) which is about right for a nice room, food, gas, booze and a tier 1 good table all split with 4-6 guys.

I usually go when I come across an semi-unexpected amount of money like a work bonus. I recently won a good some of cash in a weekly football spreads pick'em that I'm funding my trip in December with.

I'm in oz so it's usually for a special occasion (e.g. bachelor party).

I earn more than I spend, so I just scoop up that excess cash. You can always make more money, and your time to make memories is limited.

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

I get myself on a plane with $200 and then win all the money I need for the trip at the Blackjack tables .

No seriously it's a combination of saving and unexpected extra money for me.

Since the wife and I are currently DINK's (Duel Income No Kids), Navy term I learned while in the Navy, we put a percentage into a vacation only account each pay period. We like to get out of town for a long weekend once a quarter since my job has me away at least 1 week a month. Our spending budget for a Thurs-Mon trip there, 1-2 times a year, is a fixed 2k when we go to Vegas which is more than enough since we a very very very light gamblers and more into dinners, shows, clubs and pools.

Coming from the UK and only being once its saving for me. Its not just a quick flight either.

All in with hotels, flights, spending money its about $6.5k for 5 nights....................all worth it.
