A $1'500 minimum (no food) for two guys, is that a stupid idea? About how many bottles (vodka or champagne) would that be? I have no idea and would appreciate any advice.

I'm looking at a $1'500 minimum deal. As we are just two guys I am a bit worried we won't be able to drink all that liquor. However, I assume the best way to approach this is by inviting some girls to our table. Good idea?

You've solved your own problem here, I'm sure if you recruit the help of some lovely ladies you'll have no problem getting thru your minimum.

Thanks Noah! 3 bottles is definitely a lot for two guys but I assume a $1'500 min will give us a better location than a $500 min. I'll have to think twice...

Don't forget that the $1500 minimum is not your total price.

for a 1.5k min you are probably looking at $2-2.2k depending on your handshake.

That is opposed to around $800 for the $500 minimum.

Chances are the bottles you are going for will be $545-$595 per which means 3 bottles is $1650 which increases the after tax all-in.

I am also unsure if dayclubs charge LET. If so, you need to add another 10% to the all-in prices.

1.5k though will get you a drastically better table. Personally though 500 might work with a better handshake (applicable to dayclubs?)

How does bottle deals (e.g. B1G1, B2g1, B3G1) work in relation to Table Minimums? For example, $1500 minimum with B1G1/B2G1/B3G1 and average bottle is $500. Would this result in 6 bottles for B1G1; 4 bottles for B2G1; 4 bottle for B3G1 ?

Of course, it excludes the Tax/Grat/LET/HS.

The host will most likely tell you a minimum OR a BxGx deal.
For a B1G1 for example your minimum will be 1 bottle (around $450 in most clubs). For B2G1 around $900 and so on.

jp883, thanks for the explanation of bottle deals vs minimums. Looks like bottle deals are a better deal, if available.

You're welcome! Yes, if you can get a free bottle, you'll always have a better deal. You won't find many deals on holiday weekends and in T1 clubs though.
