Best place on the strip to buy booze?

We are staying at Aria. Is there any liquor stores near there with walking distance? I just want to get a bottle or two so taxi a taxi to a cheaper off the strip place isn't worth it.

There's a walgreens in the Planet Holywood shops. Like one of the first shops that you enter. Reasonably priced and convenient. did it my last time I was at Aria in December.

Does Walgreens and CVS sell rum and vodka?

Yeah they both do. Pricing is usually better at CVS.

Did the vons thing. Easy as crap and you set up the time period you want them to arrive. Had a 5-6 pm drop of and 5:15 they were calling my cell in the lobby. Tipped the guy $20 and he brought everything up to the room. I read they drop it off in the lobby so I gave it a shot and it worked.

Was able to load up on liquor, beer, snacks, fruit, water, etc. since we were there for a week. Worth it in my mind.

Would you mind giving a little bit more detail on how much beer/liquor you bought. I'm worried that if I ordered something like 10 12 packs + bottles they would look at me sideways and potentially say something.

Someone pm'ed me and said their is a liquor store at the airport right by baggage claim with prices about the same (or cheaper) than Walgreens on the strip. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Can't comment on the prices, but yeah, the liqour store at the airport opened last year. Walgreens is far from the cheapest way to buy your drinks supplies in LV though, so it may be cheaper, but not cheap. They do plenty of business based on convenience, the value prop isn't to be cheap.

Headstrong--1 case of Heiniken, 2 cases of Bud Light, 2 bottles of Goose, 2 bottles of Malibu Rum, 2 cans of pringles, 1 big bag of pretzels, 1 case of bottled waters, 1 bag of trail mix, 3 2 liters of Diet Coke, 1 2 liter of Coke Zero, 1/2 gallon of OJ. That was for my wife, myself and 2 other couples who were getting in later and we put the order together in 1 for delivery.

Everything was in boxes that are made of plastic and you can't see into and they take back. I told him sorry for the large order and he laughed as he has had 2 or 3 orders where his only delivery was for 1 hotel room. I'm sure they've scene a bit being it's Vegas.
