  • Which form of Money to bring

What form of currency do you bring when you come to Vegas - Cash or Travelers Cheques ?

I'm not sure I want to be carrying around all of the cash on me nor leaving it in the room. Perhaps leave it in the safe maybe ?

Please let me know what has been your experience and your recommendation.

I always bring cash and credit. Just the easiest form of currency for me to use.

Just bring what you need and leave the rest safe in the room. It has always worked best for me!

I had some cash then a pre-paid dollar card (I'm British) which you can use in ATMs and to pay for stuff.

Worked pretty well and if you were to lose the card you can cancel and order a replacement. My only issue was I put too much on there so had a load of unspent $$$s when I got back home!

you can just take the money out a cash point, if you know how much is roughly left on the card divide it by 1.6 and round down to nearest tenner!

Yeah I did that but ended up paying about £30 in commission fees on the card, as its in $s but withdrawing in £s.
