What is a good amount of time to stay in Vegas?

Very new to the Vegas game here. Only have been once and it was with family who just gambled. How long do YOU usually stay in Vegas? 4 days? 5 days? 7 days? Like I said, I'm sure you can't run out of things to do, but I also don't want to overstay (if thats possible???)

Some stay for weeks, some stay for days, others stay for 24 hours.

Being from SoCal, I'm in the latter of the two! However, if you're relatively far from Vegas, and can't frequent as easily, I'd definitely go for one of the longer days, especially if you're on a hotstreak on the floor.

5-6 days is good. One of which you should spend at the Grand Canyon.

We usually do 5 nights. Arrive around 5 pm an leave at noon on 6th day. It's worked out well for us. Allows some down time from constant gambling or drinking without feeling like you're wasting a day.

Longest I've done was 6 nights...lately 3 nights for most trips...4 nights is probably my max now, I'm usually ready to go after 4 nights. But if you can only go once a year or less, then I can definitely see doing 5 or 6 nights.

Ya all depends on what you really want to do. You can easily fill up your days with assorted activites from shows, tour to grand canyon(stuff like that), clubs, shopping, sleep in, gambling, eat, nature stuff(hiking) and even skiing in the winter.

Being from CA, my average trip is 2 nights, 2 full days. Basically 48hrs. But I've done 9 days to even just half a day. Just depends on your budget and what you want to do and what you can handle. LOL

3 days - 2 nights, if you don't want to completely destroy your liver. I've found that 3rd night is the killer.

This upcoming trip, I am staying 5 days and 4 nights. I usually do 4 days and 3 nights and I find that to be the perfect amount of time. With all the partying and lack of sleep, it hits me on the 3rd night and it doesn't seem so bad when I am leaving the next day. But with this trip, we have a chill night so we can go hard for the pool party the next day. If you're coming from afar and don't come to Vegas often I would stay a little longer.

My burnout is 7 days 6 nights as I found out this past July. Usually do 5 days 4 nights which is just right.

I try to go twice a year, usually 3 nights each trip. Most of our time is partying. If we were going to do other things like shopping, grand canyon, etc then I'd probably add more days.

For my recent (first) trip we did 4 nights/3 days which didn't feel like long enough. Went to LA after but could've happily spent less time there

I usually do a Thursday night to Tuesday morning depending on DJ lineups. This past trip was a Friday to Monday and it flew by. Having a few "extra" days/nights helps when you just want to sleep and still have time to party.
