  • East Coast Airfares to Vegas

Any east coasters out there with some notable deals recently? Both United and US Airways ($89 nonstop from Philly) have been offering prices lower than any point I've seen in 2-3 years. United's best bet is probably nonstop from Newark. Good little article here discussing how to lock in a cheap fare with them:

I wish US Airways would offer the same service - Not bc they're a better airline, they suck, only because it would be nice if they offered a competitive way of booking. The whole FareLock idea is pretty awesome if you get the chance to use it! Hope the other major carriers start offering it too - I already spend enough on the ground in Vegas!

89 nonstop? How can you get better than that?

Yeah $89 nonstop is a STEAL. $325-450 round trip seems to be the usual rate from Boston, but I saw recently some for like $220 from "Sun Country Airlines" which i've never seen before

When i started looking in early May/June for Aug flight dates flying out from newark/JFK (NYC), the ave price about 600. Then i got lucked out and found a flight flying out from philly for 400 from south west and i jumped on it. Overall, for 4 guys, we saved about 1K. LIke what Juice said earlier, $89 is a STEAL.

WOW . . . that's an incredible. I'm paying about $350 from Hartford, CT on SW. I had signed up for fare alerts. Interestingly enough, I received e-mails stating that Southwest was charging around $250, but when I went to their site, I was not able to find that fare. Perhaps one needed to stand on one foot while doing jumping jacks or something in order to qualify for it.
