Staying in Vegas next weekend was wondering where can you watch the fight for free. Given you can go to a bar and what not. But what would be the best spot to watch it. Or the less compact venue you can go to?

it's not going to be "free" anywhere unless you stream from your laptop and even then you're paying for wireless internet.

all places will have an entry fee table min for viewing...

The fights are usually shown via closed circuit at any number of hotels, usually about $50. It was $75 for Mayweather/Cotto, but it looks like it's 50 this time. According to press releases: NY/NY, Mandalay, Circus Circus, The Mirage, and Aria will have showings.

I think the one at the Mandalay will have the most amount of people because that is the only one on ticketmaster right now..and the one time I watched a closed circuit there, it was in their actual arena. Not sure if it's like that everytime or if they use ballrooms now. The others are usually in big conference rooms. If you go to the one at NY/NY you can walk over to/from the MGM and hangout and drink as people go into/come out of the fight itself. I have fun doing that because I am a huge boxing fan and like being around that type of stuff; see random fighters, celebs, women etc.

I'm not sure where I will watch - I'm staying at aria and am trying to go to Haze on Saturday, so I might stay close so that I don't get sidetracked on the way to the club and show up all extra late

AS yeah I agree, if you really want free....bring your laptop and the HDMI and/or vga cord and hook it into the TV in the room. I'll be doing that for the Klitschko fight which happens on that Saturday but in the daytime lol

Anybody know if they block UFC pay-per-views in your room as well?
