Chicago/San Diego advice

Two guys heading to Chicago (5 nights Weds-Sun) and San Diego (Mon-Thurs) from London prior to Vegas in June. Looking for some advice on where to head to at night in both. Chicago - Roof on the Wit looks like a good option at the weekend. I've also read that Wicker Park area has some good bars, I'm assuming only on Friday and Saturday nights though. Any other tips on where to head to? More into dance music but open to anything as long as it's got a good crowd. We're staying on magnificent mile.

San Diego is going to be more difficult because we're only looking to go out on Monday and/or Tuesday, when I assume we're going to struggle for busy places? May have to wait a month or so to see if any events are posted I guess.

I can only speak for San Diego. The best party on Monday night right now seems to be at Stingaree. It is industry night and usually gets a pretty good crowd. This is your best bet for dance music during the week. On Tuesdays, it is usually best to head to Pacific Beach for Taco Tuesday. There are cheap drinks are really drunk girls. You can always find a good time in Pacific Beach. It is a really young crowd there. Hopefully that helps a little. I will keep my ears open for anything going on in June and keep you posted. Cheers.

The Wit is a good call... I'd also suggest checking out the Mid. Wicker Park has a lot of great restaurants/bars but the atmosphere is a lot more chill. If you want great nightlife, defintely check out Hubbard Street and the River Northarea.

In San Diego, if you can swing it check out Fluxx on Thursday nights. Midweek sucks for obvious nights, but there is always somewhere hopping in Gaslamp.

Studio Paris is on the up and up right now, and from my opinion my fav place in Chi-town for the club experience. Also had a good time at a table at Social 25. And never been there, but friends have reported good times at Sub51. All 3 of these clubs are in the River North area.
