Bear in mind that it's what's called a "prepackaged" bankruptcy; basically, their creditors have agreed to it, and some time next month they'll go into court to make it official.

I'd say that as a hotel it outpaces the rest of AC, although there's a lack of casual/less-expensive dining options that's surprising even for an upscale place. As a casino, they made some serious, serious missteps at the beginning, and the result has been that they've been just about dead last in casino revenues since they opened. If you drop $2.4 billion on a place on the Boardwalk, and can't do better than Resorts or the Atlantic Club, then you're doing something very wrong.

Just out of bankruptcy court. Things got very dicey. And they are going to allow smoking in part of the casino.
