  • Last minute vegas tips? 10 days and counting

So i think i have all the big deals of my trip worked out, only 10 days till I leave for the hard rock and I'm quite excited. Just wondering if you guys had any general Vegas tips/things I should know. Figured some people might have some random tips on whatever (food, getting around, etc) that would help a first timer. Thanks

Make sure you have booze in your hotel to pre-game and enough snacks/water to recover with afterwards. Besides that, just go with it and have fun.

Yes. Drink lots of water. And everything appears closer than it really is. Just because you can see it, doesn't mean you want to try walking there.

            - I always take a box of powdered Pedialyte packets with me that I can mix with water....seems to work better than plain water or sports drinks (for me anyway). I also take some Emergen-C packets just in case I don't get enough vitamin C from the screwdrivers or lime wedges in my mixed drinks.

            - If you're taking a cab make sure the driver takes Swenson St. to the Hard Rock and doesn't try to explain to you how the interstate is somehow faster (it's not....ever).

            - Save numbers of hosts in your phone before you go...even from clubs you don't anticipate going to. Plans always end up being pretty fluid in Vegas and it's better to be prepared than not.

Play the slots in the airport, when youre thirsty slam a red bull, and use your credit cards for gambling.

And don't use your credit cards at the strip clubs!

Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I actually suggest using mostly cash for everything when in town, but yes ESPECIALLY in the strip clubs.

One more big one...sign up for the guest loyalty program @ Hard Rock and charge anything you can to your room. You might find yourself with a free night or something nice like that on your next visit.
