So even though I'm from the LA area I had never partied down in San Diego so I didn't know what to expect. One of my best friends was getting married on Sunday and a few of us decided to head down on Thursday evening while others were getting there on Friday or Saturday. The 4 of us make a Costco run to get 2 1.75 L bottles of Ketel and some mixers.
We check into the Hotel Solamar and start pre-gaming. The hotel was in/near the Gaslamp district so we just go out there. We went to a couple diff spots but couldn't find a great spot. The first spot we decided to spend some time at was this decent spot Voyeur that played all EDM. The spot was cool and the crowd was decent but my friends don’t like EDM (and the DJ was whatever) We left and ended up at the club at the hard rock, 207 - good music but half empty (we got there pretty late and didn't have to pay). I ended up talking to this decent hispanic chick and ended up making out with her and fingering her at her table. Her friends made her leave though so I didn't close. My group left and I ended up randomly chopped it up with these British dudes outside and they offered for me to roll with them to another spot but since I was around the corner from the hotel I just went back.
Friday we slept in and then had brunch down the street at the Broken Yolk. Started the day off right with some mimosas -
We then chilled at the pool at our hotel. It was very dead so we were able to get a cabana type area without having to reserve anything or have a minimum. The pool was pretty empty but there were a couple of groups of girls. Me and one of my boys ended up talking to these two chicks from Glendale. One was Armenian and the other was Palestinian They were cool and after a while the Palestinian one told me that the Armenian one had a crush on my boy(and that she had just broken up with her bf). They end up making out while I occupied the other one. She was just ok and she told me she had a boyfriend. After a I got a few more drinks in I decided to say fuck it and ended up making out with her and fingering her a little bit in this secluded area. We got their room # and said we'll hit them up later and we went to eat. After smashing some carne asada fries we went back to the hotel.
Me and my boy went up to their room. Me and Palenstinian chick fool around on the bed and I get jerked off but I didn't finish as we got interrupted. Not sure what V does with his chick in the bathroom (no sex though)
We previously decided that we would get bottle service on Friday since the bachelor was coming in that day. We end up doing bottle service at the same hard rock club and it's pretty fun. The music is hip-hop and top 40 which my group wants and we meet a few different groups of white girls throughout the night and thankfully no bottle rats. We had 5 people but only 3 of us drinking the bottle of Ciroc we had – one doesn’t drink at all and one only does beer. So one bottle ends up doing the trick.
Nothing happens with the couple groups of white girls we met earlier but as the night ends I meet this cute Hispanic chick. My boys weren’t interested in her friends though so they left. I end up going back with her group to their hotel a little bit later on. Neither of us had our own room but this chick was pretty cute and I was horny so I ended up buying another room at their hotel so that we can handle our business. We finish around 3AM and pass out. I wake up around 8 and see chick is gone. The first thing I do is check for my wallet and watch and thankfully both are still there with nothing missing. See I received a text from her at 6AM – “had to leave. Thank you so much. Had a great time. ; )” I feel used haha. I check out and walk back to Salomar.
Later on that morning I get a text from Palestinian chick - "my dudes coming down to stay w me till sunday so gotta stay clear from you now for sure : /" Would have disappointed me if I hadn't handled business the previous night
Saturday is pretty unadventurous as we have the wedding rehearsal and the BBQ afterward. Only one of the bridesmaids is that cute but she ends up being my partner : ). We go to the Padres-Dbacks game that evening which was fun. Petco is a nice park and we had pretty good seats. Since Petco is right by the Gaslamp we decide to go out in that area again.
After the game we eat at some bar/pub and then bar hop. This night the group is bigger – all of the groomsmen and some of the groomsmen’s SO. We hit up a few different bars in the Gaslamp . Vin de Sayrah was the best one and where we went first. Not sure why we didn’t stay, it may have been the music. Closed it out at Stage. Not the best place by any means but we just had fun within our large group. And those of us that had been there since Thursday were tired of going hard anyway. Left relatively early since we had the wedding the next day.
