The GNC stuff ... they will always push that to you first b/c they get comm. bonuses off of each GNC product they sell.Originally posted by SoCal Girl View PostHow long will the 10lbs last? It will be for me and my husband. He is going to do it too. He has a big head start on me but oh well.
I would go for Optimum Nutrition ... good stuff and it's not that bad.Vegas 3.19.15

ON's Nitrocore 24 is a blend of ten proteins (ranging from fast-acting to slow-release) and has fiber and flax seed (for Omega 3s) in it.Originally posted by Mr.Vegas View PostThe GNC stuff ... they will always push that to you first b/c they get comm. bonuses off of each GNC product they sell.

It's perfect if you want to replace your dinner with a protein shake. And, best of all, it tastes brilliant (the cinnamon roll = winner).

I think anyone who knows anything about lifting will use ON - no fancy marketing gimmicks (Nitrotech's LOL GAIN 15 POUNDS OF MUSCLE IN FIVE MINUTES), no junk added that will make you fat (Muscle Milk anyone?!), no high-sales pressure (seriously, GNC, saying you use "science" doesn't make your product any better).

I'd highly recommend trying ON"s "Natural" Whey.Originally posted by royale View PostYea you are right.. I bought this other stuff called Dymatize's Gourmet Whey and I have been missing the ON. Its a quality product..theres no powdery after taste.
There's just something better about it...
Unless you're bulking, there's really no reason to... it's fat, fat, and more fat. Seriously, I think fewer than 50% of the calories come from protein.any of you guys take muscle milk ? it taste great

Ooh, gonna have to disagree on that one.
Glutamine is just an amino acid; good for muscle recovery. No contribution to weight gain. Best part - new research shows glutamine may actually help burn fat.
It's all the oil that makes muscle milk bad. Let's look at the ingredients list:
In essence - protein, oil, sugar. Nice.Muscle Milk's ingredients: EvoPro(TM) (Micellar Alpha And Beta Caseins And Caseinates, Rich In Alpha-Lactalbumin, Whey Isolates, Whey Peptides, L-Glutamine, Taurine, Lactoferrin), Lean Lipids(TM) (Trans Fat Free Lipid Complex Consisting of Canola Oil, Sunflower And/Or Safflower Oil, MCT's, L-Carnitine), Fructose, Cocoa Powder, Maltodextrin, CytiVite I(TM) (Vitamin And Mineral Premix Consisting Of Vitamin A Acetate, Ascorbic Acid, Folate, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Niacinamide, Pyridoxine HCL, Cyanocobalamin, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Di-Calcium Phosphate, Potassium Iodine, Potassium Chloride, Ferrous Fumarate, Magnesium Oxide, Copper Gluconate, Zinc Oxide, Chromium Nicotinate), Natural And Artificial Flavors, Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose, Soy Lecithin.
