    time to revive this thread

pretty much a low calorie/carbs diet

    1700-1800 cals a day
    80-140gr carbs
    200gr protein
    40-50gr fat

    i'm 5'10
    185lbs

3 times a week HIIT cardio
5-6 times a week weight training

since its the hot season peak and my countdown timer says 18 days to go for my 2, hopefully, crazy weeks in vegas...

I've been working my ass off for this moment and went on a killer 8 months cutting diet...

well here is THEN & NOW pics

If anyone up to a fun HIIT you are more than welcome to join me at the Cosmo fitness center ( july 11th-july 17th ) im pretty much a gym rat so no matter what, i'll end up working out on vacation too...

Up the cardio while continuing to lift and decrease cals to below maintenance. Chicks don't care how big you are as long as you are cut. Typically I eat at or above maintenance to add mass but summer time and Vegas trips you gotta cut. You gotta have plenty of time to do this. Trying to change 3 weeks before trip ain't gonna help you if you aren't in decent shape. If you are rich then disregard aesthetics money is king in Vegas.

I have a marathon near the end of April. I need to carry 5-7 pounds of extra fat into the race so I don't fall apart. I will have 5 weeks after the race to burn off the fat. That is stressing me out big time. I am on the verge of cutting the fat now and going into the race too light. It is clear that in my priorities Vegas pools > marathon performance. Vegas pools are a great motivator.

has anyone tried hangover heaven or pushiv? seems like a great idea.

i recommend working on a strength program (as opposed to a "hypertrophy" program, or one that says it will pack on muscle). strength programs give you a better more athletic shape, makes you fitter (stronger too, obviously) and less of that "puffy" look.
eric cressey's "Maximum Strength" is a 10/10 program for starting strength that i keep coming back to (i've been strength training for work for years now).

    that's my 2 cents.

Yep I've just started changing the diet (ie no junk and no booze for a bit). Already go 5 times a week to the gym so I trim up just by eating better and avoiding alcohol

My new thing is vodka n blue or purple Gatorade. With a little crystal light energy powder mixed in to sweeten it up. This past weekend I drank all night, and woke up great! If you're taking any fat-burners, or any supplements besides protien or aminos, stop a few days before. You already know to hydrate like crazy, have pedialite as lots of vitamins. You'll be good to go

    Alright! Keep the thread alive!

2 weeks to show time. I've done mad work over the last 1.5 years but i know there is nothing substantial that can happen before my trip.

    Till then?

Water + fruits/vegetables/meats and running/toned exercises each day.

    When i get there!

What is my hangover cure looking like. I will be partying hard from 9pm friday night to 10 am sunday morning.

Thinking lots of water, pedialyte, b12 vitamins, Tylenol etc.

What should my routine be? Pound water during drinking, pedialyte and tylenol prior to bed, b12 at start of day?

Looking for efficiency here as I don't want to be lethargic or out of it since time is money!

We'll be there those same dates, except we fly out on the 15th...

As for the topic of this thread, I have 30 days to get myself back into shape ughh.. finishing finals tomorrow should help immensely on my time available for exercising... but for the next 4 weeks clean eating and p90x workouts..
