Looks like the new Casino in AC Revel is going to have a dayclub/nightclub. http://www.revelresorts.com/night-da...lub-beach-club

The wife in I will be there for the Kevin Hart show friday night and will be staying over for the Beyonce Concert Saturday Night. Will hopefully have a report about the day/night club. Supposedly it's ran by the Angel group that runs Wet Repub

Awesome, been watching it go up, will be nice for The Pool and Borgata to get some more competition as Dusk and providence dont do much for me. Looking forward to the report

I need a full report on this. I will be down there on the 28th for a bach party and def trying to get the guys to check out the club. It is run by AMG and I really really hope they do it like Vegas and have a host I can call on when im down there for a table. The way they do shit now at these other casinos is just stupid. Anyway, hopefully the dayclub/nighclub events will allow me to be there a lot more this summer then in past years cause AC kinda sucks all together when it comes to day/nightlife.

ya my first ever trip to AC was last Oct. I'm a Vegas regular so we wanted to check out what Atlantic City was all about.
honestly, I was totally disappointed. I guess I was expecting a Vegas of the east coast and it wasnt. lol. Passed by the clubs and it didnt look appealing to go in.

Hoping to see what the new casino will bring to town. Planning to be back next Oct in the area.

Whenever I go to AC I just hit up the Pool in Harrahs. Granted I haven't been in the past year so I don't know what to expect.

            I can speak on this.

Revel Hotel/Casino in Atlantic City is a complete game-changer. I was there for the soft opening on April 2nd and I've been following this project since it broke ground in 2006.

The biggest thing they did was embrace the ocean around it, unlike the other casinos on the boardwalk. Revel bills itself as a lifestyle resort first and a casino second. The energy of the place is just top-notch, and this would sit in the upper echelons of Vegas if it were picked up and moved to the Strip.

As for the nightlife and daylife, Angel Management Group is the primary partner and they (will) operate 3 venues. The first is The Social, a 700-person (yes, huge) center casino bar that has a stage and features live performances. That's the center of the action.

The second is HQ Nightclub, which is a 4-story nightclub that has a different experience on each level. They are running way behind on construction -- they had originally planned to open up for Revel's Grand Opening on Memorial Day Weekend, but it's looking like mid-summer until the Nightclub is ready.

The third is HQ Beach Club, which is situated just off the boardwalk and is about half the size of Wet Republic. They will have all the Vegas-style amenities and it will be rocking when it opens around 4th of July weekend.

Word on the street is that they've already lined up some ridiculous residencies for those two clubs. Think BIG, like Avicii and the like.

The other nightlife experience is independently operated by Ivan Kane (of Forty Deuce fame in LA & Vegas), and it's called Ivan Kane's Royal Jelly. This is a full-scale burlesque club situated right off the casino floor. It has catwalks that come out over the casino floor to give patrons a sneak peek of the action inside.

All in all, it's a very well-rounded place and the nightlife should set the bar WAY higher in Atlantic City once everything is fully operational. First impressions of the hotel and casino itself, though, are tremendous.

I'm really pumped for Revel's grand opening. I was hoping to have my bday (June 23) down at Revel but I guess that isnt going to happen.

Brett, any idea what type of pricing to expect w/ cabanas, daybeds, etc..?

I was seriously disappointed in the sound quality at the pool when I saw Sebastian Ingrosso there. Much prefer either MIXX or mur.mur over at the Borgata (and the Borgata does a good job getting good talent in too).

I'll be there over Memorial Day Weekend for the grand opening, my buddy's architecture firm was part of building it so he got us a suite comped. We will actually hit up Borgata for Pitbull that Friday, not sure yet what we will be doing the rest of the weekend.

Either they were a bit premature to schedule guest DJs or the nightclub might be open sooner then we thought. Calvin Harris has an appearance at the club on his website scheduled for May 19th.

VERY interesting find. I'm not sure what that's all about.

Direct from an AMG in AC Employee's Mouth, the Nightclub will definitely not be open for May 19th.

I would assume then that they might have had initial plans made with Calvin prior to the delayed opening becomming apparent but nobody has gotten around to taking it of his website yet.

I was looking at a few DJ's websites and slowly but surely Revel is starting to pop up on those pages (For example, Cedric Gervais and Laidback Luke). Has anyone heard anything as to when they will have officially open the nightclub/dayclub?
