Is it worth moving to Vegas?

I can't stop thinking about Vegas, I had an amazing time there. I work with a company where I could just transfer there. Is it worth moving to Vegas? Just trying to see if there are some locals that can give me some pros and cons...

Don't live there myself (....yet?!) but one thing I can tell you is that all the locals/people who used to live there that I have talked to said they couldn't wait to get out of there after a couple years. I can definitely see it taking a toll on your soul lol

I thinking living there a year would be fun, but you would probably burn yourself out on partying real quick unless you are THAT big of a party animal.

Plus part of the vegas fun to me is the hype for the trips. If i lived there its an everything thing so you probably go numb to how crazy it really is

I love it here. Great weather most of the year, lots of hiking in the area, a lake, snowboarding, diverse population, traffic isn't bad, LA / San Diego / and the beach are all a few hours away, we get all the big concerts, nightlife is second to none, on and on.

Moving here ultimately depends on what you are looking for, as every place is what you make of it. If you are looking to be on a permanent vacation, that doesn't happen. I love the Vegas area for all that it is, not just the stuff on the Strip.

just remember.. you can't afford to do "Vegas" every week just because you move there...

There are WAY more things to do in Southern Nevada besides clubs & pools. You'll have to really ask yourself exactly why you'd want to live there and then make the decision... it won't be a party 24/7!
