I've used these forums alot for all my vegas trips so maybe some of you can help me with Montreal. So there are 8 of us going to Montreal for a bachelor party in July. Anyone got any tips or contacts or anything? I usually never use "VIP" services, but I've seen two. MontralVIP and MontrealNightLife. No one in the group has ever been there so not sure if we should think about it.

    Thanx in advance!

It's definitely not good value for the money, but it is convenient.

I had my own bachelor party in Montreal - I didn't plan it but I can give you some ideas of what we did.

First, there are about 10 or so strip clubs, so just make a plan to hit a few of them one night. We hit everyone single one we saw. I think Kama Sutra was the best.

Second, booking bottle service at a nightclub is incredibly easy - it's not like Vegas where you need to know who to contact, meet them outside and give a "handshake". Just call the club, tell them how many and when you'll be there and it's pretty much taken care of.

Third, a few places have BYOB (wine only, usually), so you may want to look at some nice places where you can bring your own bottles of wine - a nice way to get trashed without paying the 300% mark-up restaurants charge. Montreal is good for this.

Fourth, and this is if you want to get adventurous, my friends also planned a trip to the Blanche De'Chambly brewery which was about a 40 minute drive outside the city. It was awesome and the food was a nice assortment of game meats (Kangaroo pie, vension, bison etc). It's also right on the lake.

My friends and I also did Laser tag - was really fun.

Answering your question specifically, I do not recommend these services.

It works out to roughly double what you'd pay if you planned it out yourself, and it's pretty easy to plan when you've got months to do it. I put two people in charge of the planning (someone 'crazy' and someone that has good organizational skills)

Thanks for the feedback. I've already been in contact with some of the clubs there and the bottle prices arent that bad. And you're right they seem very easy to deal with.

We're probably going to be there for about 4 nights. So we're not going to be doing bottles every night. The MontrealNightLife site claims for around $70 a person they will get us into any bar / club every night. This I'm thinking MIGHT be worth it?? How much is cover usually there?

        Thanx,
        Shak

My friend's went this past August for a bachelor party... lets just say bottles cost ~100-150 with special bottles (4.5L - 6L bottles) going for around $600.

Check out the girl-on-girl lesbian action with table dances at the rippers also.

I haven't been to many of the nightclubs and we did bottle service there so we didn't pay cover, but if I remember correctly most places are free / $5-$10 cover.

There's probably some high end places with $20 cover though.

$70 per person sounds about right for the company to charge. 4 places with a $10 cover and $30 for the company for arranging everything. Might be worth it.

Ya thats what I'm thinking. They say its unlimited so we can even bar hop without having to worry about lines or cover and stuff.

Ok, i could not resist and prob will piss off some companies posting the truth, I used to work for a certain VIP company... but here it goes:

Overall in Montreal if you want to go partying at a club expect to buy bottles. Most GOOD places will expect you to buy 1 bottle per every 4 guys. bottles will run you around $250 after tax and tip (Goose).

If you are looking to spend $70 and club hop. Forget it. any good club will require bottles or you are not getting in. Any place that will let you in with some "party pass" is not a place you want to go. the covers are insignificant as the really good places don't even have a cover (Buonna notte, wood 35, Globe, Koko, Rouge....).

id be wary of anyone telling you that you guys can hop around from one club to the next. Ideally these services are for those that don't want any hassles getting in or getting a table, not for those looking to save money. Just being honest here. If you have any specific questions let me know I would be glad to help you cut through all the confusion

                      Mr Montreal is right
it is pretty easy to book by yourself in montreal
it will be 1 bottle for 3-4 guys , depending on the nights
best clubs will have bottles about 250$ for grey goose ( 26ounces) or absolut ( 40 ounces)
better to go to the club before hand so you have a visual with the person doin the bookin
be sure to hit Koko, buenanotte , wood 35 among others
terrasses bonsecours is a good spot too, on the quays, beautiful vue, tight place means you will do a lot of bumpin into ladies
