The house i owned was 2k a month (3k sq ft, 5 bedrooms, loft, 2 car garage). I have since changed my living situation (and girl friend) and now have a 1300 sq ft apt for under 1200 a month (3 bedroom)

How far do you live from the strip? What floor are you on?

Im on the 2nd floor of a 2 story apt complex. I live 1 major block from the actual strip, but what your prob referring to is the tourist part of the strip. Im about 10 miles from mandalay bay. I live very close to south point casino.

Like most people said, stay away from North Vegas. I used to live off Lake Mead/Civic Center and our neighbors celebrated their daughter's 5th birthday with a bouncy castle and AK47 fire into the air. We didn't live far from the strip, but it can get ghetto fast off the strip.
