Does anyone know if the Hilton still offers the free gaming lessons?

I'd love to learn how to play craps - it's not a game that features in the Scottish casinos much - and it seems by far and away the most fun I've ever seen people having at a table in a casino!

The Hilton is not too far from the Hard Rock, where we're staying, so it would make sense to head there if the lessons are still on Mon-Fri, 10:30 a.m. & 4 p.m as I've seen mentioned on a couple of websites.

I'm not sure about the Hilton but Bills has free craps lessons everyday at 10am.

You can usually walk around in the morning/early afternoon and if a table isn't busy at all they'll teach you how to play using the basics and some advanced methods. That's what I did in various casino's when I walked the strip

10am could be a struggle...unless we're still going I suppose. I know the Golden Nugget and a couple of other joints have lessons on around that time too.

That 4pm one at the Hilton would be useful if it's still on the go!

Go to www.wizardofodds.com and you can learn a ton about any casino game and they actually have free on-line games to try it out. The info is a bit technical and all based on bettering your odds, but that is how I learned craps and still touch up a bit before I go on a trip.

1st, I dont know about hte Hilton but I know many other hotels do. I took craps lesson at Ny-Ny in Feb 2009. But I would bet that Hilton does -- they host a craps tournament at least once a year.

2nd, not many craps tables in Scotland casinos?!? I hope this is remedied soon! I may want to visit a casino when I finally visit the land my ancestors lived

Check for gaming lessons at the casinos around 10 or 11am local time while there. Even if you already know how to play the game, you can learn some good tips plus they usually let you start playing at a cheaper rate or may have some other kind of special to stay and play. Good luck!

In Vegas you can take lessons by tipping the dealers. I have had thousands of dollars spent on lessons with the casino so far. Get it? LOL!
