    Any stories or strategies?

I only played once, at the Excalibur. Did decent, won about two hundy. I hit at least 5 numbers within 20mins of playing.

My friend's got a strategy where he places an amount of cash on a color, and places bets down on the table, covering all the opposite numbers, so one way or the other, he wins... I'm not an experienced player, so I have no idea if that's a decent strategy or not smart.

Also at Excalibur, this one Asian dude kept betting a big stack on 00 every turn, and he hit 00 5 times within 10 minutes, it was insane

I started using this particular method a couple years ago. With this one, you can only lose so much, and you have a very good chance of winning some coin, albeit at a slower pace. Worst case is you're outta $62, and the best case is you win a lot of the lower bets and hit on the $32 spin and walk away with double or possibly even more of your original stake. Read the following to understand how to use this system:

First time I tried it, I lost $62 right off the bat. Second time, I sat with 2 buddies for an hour, had 4 or 5 beers, and won $240. My other friends won a little less than me. My latest experiences have fallen somewhere in between

I stay away from it. Ive watched too many of my friends get busted up from it.

I almost always do a nominal $20 on black.

I used to play some more when I gambled more... usually it would involve me winning a couple hundred after hours of hold em playin and then on the last day... losing it all by betting on black, losing, doubling black, losing, doubling black, losing, money gone.

When my friends see a table thats hit red or black 5 times in row (or more), they cant contain their selves. Ive watched them lose every penny in their pocket. They never seem to learn their lesson either.

Yeah, I know ppl with all sorts of weird betting routines (like mine!) when it comes to roulette. I think most people know subconsciously that every outcome in the game is independent, but they have to try and convince themselves that they're not just making a fool's bet. I mean, the game has crappy odds, period. As long as you're aware of that, you can enjoy it for what it is.

thanks for writing that.. I just had an argument with someone that thinks each spin is somewhat dependent on previous spins.. i was like, nooo, it can hit black all night.. each spin is independent of the last.. doesn't matter that it was 32 last.. it can be 32 again..

i always pick the last two rows.. not exactly a strategy, but so far in roulette, i am up.. but i don't like this game much.. i only play it if the blackjack tables are full.

one thing i have learned over some time of playing this ... if u play late at night or early morning and get a cool dealer some have the skills to dictate the area of the wheel it will hit.

i never believe my friend when he told me this, but at mgm one day we had this young dealer who we kept chatting it up to and played at his table for a while. at first we would jokingly say "hey dealer hit X # and ill take care of you" and like the next 2 spins he would spin it and it would be like 1-2 spaces away from that # if it didnt hit and just smile. After some time we would just say give me X number and bet on that # and ones around it and we were making mad money.

By the end of the session i want to say we tipped him over $200 because we were winning that much, pretty much he would watch the wheel and i guess had a touch on how fast to release that ball to get it to land in a certain section. Most dealers just spin that ball as fast as they want ... this guy knew what he was doing...

I usually play at the Casino Royale since it's $1 betting. Put a certain dollar amount on either black or red and then bet the same amount on the inner numbers, usually hitting the corners or dividers for most of the bet and placing a number down here or there. It's a slow way to play since you usually push, but I've always had an overall gain.

i had to slow down on my roulette game too cuz its been kicking my arse lately. but my strategy is to put some $ on black/red, then either hit 1st/2nd/3rd 12 or one of the three rows with the same amount. Play 10 or so numbers straight, also my 0 and 00. Plus I ALWAYS play whatever the last number that hit was and the date. Used to always pay off SOMETHING but i don't know.... lately the magnet in the wheel hasn't been on my side

it was $3 dollar minimums on roulette and blackjack last time I was at casino royale. that place is a blast but can get way too smoky for my taste.
