Just out of curiosity I'm wondering what places people go to play either video poker or video blackjack? I've read a few articles lately on casinos cracking down on comped drinks, anyone have experience with this?

Never experienced anyone crackin down. Tip and bet max (at least when bartenders are around) and you will be fine. Was in Vegas recently. Everywhere offered this deal. MGM, Venetian, Luxor, Caesar's, Cromwell.
And several had no issue with $0.25 bets...MGM was the only one that demanded $0.75 or $1 bets. As long as you're playing, you're drinking.Comment

At the casino lobby bar right inside the Monte Carlo entrance, the bartender flat out said he'd comp as long as I popped a 20$ in the machine. I never noticed ANY bartender paying attention to how much I was betting, and I hit MC, Excalibur, South Point, just to name a fewComment
