  • Which casinos will comp you for playing?

Anybody know which casinos will comp you rooms/buffets/etc for playing with them?

Assume you'll need a players card. What kind of turnover do you need to be given comps?

I played at Wynn/Encore in Summer 2013 and got a free buffet but couldn't use it as it was my last day. I don't suppose that will still be valid in 2015?

All casino's will comp you based on your play. I've been to Vegas 4 times; twice with what I considered a large gambling budget (10-15k) and twice with a small budget (2-4k) for the tables. I've mostly played at the M-life casinos. They've been good about offering free rooms for future trips but a bit tight with immediate comps based on play during the trip. While stay at a MGM property I went to Cromwell and Ceaser's last trip, gambled for a few hours they immediately offered a free 2 night stay at Paris/ph/Ceasers.

I've been told Mandalay Bay wants 4 hours of play a day at $300 a hand blackJack for a standard room. That fits with my experience. Aria gave me a room for similar time spent. I've spent considerable time playing craps at both and received minimal comps.

In short, you'll get future offers pretty quick, but it takes a lot of time at the tables to get an immediate room comp.

Jick is right, My experience is similiar. M life has gotten very tight on check out comps. Future trips they throw rooms at you like crazy, but during the trip I found it pretty shitty. I have moved onto total rewards and Ceasar's properties

You left M life? I about did...then Bellagio came through for my next trip when rooms were insane. How's TR been treating you?

            I don't mind future trips.

Also I'm not a big gambler, maybe $50-100 a day lol

TR is a lot better on the future comps than MLife most definitely. I am a very small gambler, play primarily poker which is really not looked upon as a benefit to the hotel but still get offers for free rooms during Sun-Thurs.

Weekends are usually reduced rates which is fine by me. I'm not one who chases comps.

Though they are off strip and struggling, Hard Rock gives me the best free room offers based on 5 hours of play on my last trip. Played $200 in slots and 2 hours of poker while signing up for their players card.

I doubt you'll get any mLife offers for that unless it's slot play...then maybe. Monte Carlo is pretty loose with comp rooms for lower play. I don't gamble much myself anymore, I just let my wife do her thing on the slots and we usually get a couple free nights comped. Our accounts are linked so I can book the comp...but they always ask if my wife is coming lol.

I keep telling myself that I'm going to quit gambling at Mlife properties and gamble at Total Rewards properties instead, but Mlife keeps comping me rooms and I'm afraid that if I spend a trip only gambling at Total Rewards properties that I'll somehow not end up getting any comps from them and in turn not getting any future offers from MLife since I didn't gamble with them either.

The main thing I hate about MLife is that you really only get offers for the places you gamble at and though they have tons of properties. So far it's worked out because I've always gambled the most at MGM so that's where I keep getting free rooms and comps, but it'd be nice to stay somewhere different like Aria for a change.

I just didnt like my experience on the last trip. M life (for me) is now missing the smaller things they used to do for me. I gambled one night at RIO (always enjoyed the casino floor there) and signed up for TR. Booked next trip at Caesars and I have 5 comped nights. No idea how I even got that deal, but it's booked. Getting taken care of at Bellagio is sweet thats pretty awesome. 4/6-4/11 is next trip unless Mayweather Pac fight happens in May then were going then. ( not expecting comped nights then from Caesars)

You will get offers until the day you die. M life sends me comped nights at casinos I gambled at 5 years ago and it is NOT because I am a huge gambler

Mlife hasn't given me anything. Cosmo recently comped me three nights (2 night offer, 1 night from being sterling level). As a result, Cosmo pretty much gets all of my play. That being said, they do seem erratic with their offers and are currently switching owners so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

                            In Vegas you have:

Mlife - Aria, Bellagio, Vdara, MGM Grand, The Signature at MGM, Mandalay Bay, Delano, Mirage, Monte Carlo, NYNY, Luxor, Excalibur

Total Rewards - Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, Linq (formerly Quad, formerly IP), Planet Hollywood, Ballys, Rio, Harrahs, Paris, Flamingo

Both have non-Vegas properties as well

Really? My buddy used to gamble tons at MGM and get tons and tons of offers and after he didn't go for a little over a year they completely stopped.

My winter offers weren't really that great at all, and I figured it was just because I used two offers this past summer and didn't gamble enough for their liking. The two summer offers I did were both four free nights at MGM, $150 freeplay and $350 food and beverage credit, but I'm going back in a month and the only offers I had this time were two free nights Sunday - Thursday. Luckily a host contacted me prior to my last trip so I just emailed him this time and he got me four free nights over Super Bowl weekend, which is awesome.
