  • Single Deck Blackjack

    Hi All

Do all casinos on the strip offer single deck blackjack?

  • #2
A good amount of them have single deck games- but with terrible odds (6 to 5 payout on blackjack, no double after split, etc). You might be able to find a single deck game with better odds on a higher min table ($50-$100 or more per hand), but i only play lower min tables so I wouldn't be able to tell you where to find those. Hope that helps!

If you are playing $100 tables, Im sure you can find a single deck game with ideal odds- you can definately find a good double deck game. I am headed to Vegas tomorrow. I will keep an eye out for those games and report back if I notice something good.

Wizard of odds maintains a decent blackjack survey record on where to find certain games:
            http://wizardofvegas.com/guides/blackjack-survey/

Looks like no single deck on the strip. Good double deck games can be found at a bunch of spots for $50/hand with good $25 double deck game at Mirage and a pretty decent one at Aria.

Obviously depends on time of day and other factors...

Thanks for this. Interesting... hitting on soft 17 and surrender avail or standing on soft 17 and surrender unavail.

I 2nd what was written above. I saw a few $15 single deck games- with sexy BJ dealers at Planet Hollywood. And $25 min game at Cosmo. Both paid out 6 to 5 on blackjack though...

I played a $10 table at The Cromwell this past weekend. More than tripled my money, than colored the hell up. Best night of the trip.

6/5 payouts are the worst though. I'd avoid those tables. Anywhere you see the hot dealers the odds are bad. (but then again, the scenery is great)
