  • How do you spend your gambling winnings?

Yes...I win in Vegas and my game is blackjack! I love love love blackjack...any other game is too slow for me. Where do I spend my winnings? I do some shopping but mostly I spend it on bottle service!!! I probably wouldn't do bottle service if it weren't for my winnings in blackjack.

True. But how do you know when to stop? How much is enough winnings to say to yourself...I've won enough and now I'm gonna stop gambling?

That is a question I've been unsuccessful in answering for years, but seriously my gambling money is separate from everything else so there are highs and lows along the way but really the only time I'm not gambling is at the clubs, eating, or sleeping. Rest if the time I'm hitting slots, tables, or have money on a game so even if I'm up a good amount I wouldn't just quit for the day or the trip

the answer is going to be different for everyone and i suspect most ppl will not hold to their decision to stop. most gamblers i know not only like the thrill of gambling but the main attraction is spending house money. even if you say ive won enough and stop unless youre going to stop spending money all together, the draw to gamble will too strong for most real gamblers esp in vegas over a number of days. why spend your own money when you can just win some more and spend that?

I made an itneresting thing this year.
Me and my friend puted $500 each on the roulette...every profit from it would go to upgrading our table...
              Interesting choice hehe

If I'm playing blackjack and I'm up a lot I'll quit once it seems the cards start going bad and I lose 3 hands in a row. Then it's time to color up.

Ahhhh....so true! I do love spending house money! I'm no blackjack expert but I think I'm pretty good at money management. After each shuffle I analyze how much I have and how much I'm willing to continue gambling. Once I reach a certain goal, I will stop and get up from the table, especially if the cards are turning. It's harder to know when to stop when the table is HOT. My goal is usually a "cookie" but I am also happy to stop after 2K. I've been very lucky so far and I've been playing for years.

In the beginning, casinos would recognize my play and reward me with numerous offers. However, the last 2 years I've noticed the casinos have not been as generous with their offers.

casinos is general i think have gotten very tight with their comps. which makes sense since they are making so much money off of everything else non-gaming related. that being said i think most casinos still need a certain level of play to keep the lights on so to speak. i know cosmo was having issues with this in the past. not sure if this is still a problem for them.

When I win in gambling I am tempted for more and more. I try to control myself but I cannot. I just spend all my winnings in more gambling and drinks.

Only way you can come ahead is if you stay not alot of days...and dont gamble alot.
                          Bet, win, go home.

I have a separate budget for gambling than I do the rest of the trip. The gambling money, I am ok with losing. So my tactic is that anytime I am up more than 25% of what I started with, I pocket the winnings and keep playing. I won't always play till every dollar is gone from the initial start, but most of the time I will (not by choice). But using this method, I have come out ahead for nearly every trip. One trip I was able to cover the entire cost of the trip (flight, hotel, food, nightclubs) and still had left over money in the gambling pool.
