  • M Life or Total Rewards?

Heading out for the first time this year the weekend of May 10th. I've always been a fan of Total Rewards as they usually offer some pretty good rates through their website and a couple comp rooms here and there.

Seems like M Life has recently stepped up their game and is providing better room rates, as well as their "My Vegas" Facebook app which you can play to earn credits and redeem them for comps.

Which rewards program gives me the best opportunity to score a comp room or low rates for a future visit?

I stick to the table games (BJ, craps, roulette) and sportsbook.... and I am not a high roller lol

    Thanks for the help!

Personally I choose m life. Used them for years and get hooked up very well. Keep in mind, your games of choice reward a lot less than slots do

Here's a comparison....it's from mLife so consider the source I guess
I'm an mLifer and have been very happy with comps...and MyVegas doesn't hurt either for some little extras

Like jhaulotte & chuck i prefer mlife just cause their resorts are nicer and i like the program as it's maintained and updated often so nothing looks outdated and it's very easy to see what your play gets you on mlife.com but if you want to get noticed playing minimum bets at table games/sportbooks then I'd prob recommend you over to TR as they tend to notice you easier with comps for not as much play as mLife does.

The problem with TR is you lose the points and all if you don't play at any casinos after your last play within a certain time frame. Went in October 2012 and was notified in April, 6 months after I was there, I would lose my points at the 6 month mark if I did not use the card. M Life on the other hand has kept my points/comp credits up to the minute and never a peep. I get to Vegas 1 to 2 times a year when schedule allows.

Seems like TR/Caesers group is tightening up the freebies plus you add that they now are charging a daily fee like the other properties, stay with M-Life.

Last year mLife instituted a new policy regarding your 'Level'. Your tier credits reset to zero every twelve months. So you have to 're-earn' your Level each year. For example, you sign up for a card in June 2013. By end of May 2014 you've earned Pearl Level. You will stay at Pearl level from June 2014 - May 2015, but your tier credits (that got you to that level reset). So to keep Pearl Level status you have to re-earn it each year.

Up until the end of last year tier credits never expired...you just kept building...which is how I got to Platinum status. I guess I'll enjoy it for a couple more trips lol.

Yeah M life, although I still feel is the best made it very tough for someone who gambles at my level to ever get and stay and a super high level.

                  well, that sucks.

I think this has been asked before but does bottle service Light/Hyde/Haze/Bank count towards tier status? And what the $/point conversion if it does?

Any resort spend counts towards Tier status...so any club that you can charge to an MGM room (all of the ones you listed you can) will help your tier. I got to Platinum purely through resort spend. If it's comped rooms you want though...gambling has more weight.
With slots being the easiest way to get comped rooms. The combination of higher tier and some good slot play results in very nice comp offers for rooms.

It kinda does, but to be fair I get nice comps for hotels and when its all said and done thats all I really want.
