Roullete, baccarat, BJ etc... and I do mean Blackjack. Although for the minimums in there, you should be provided a BJ. They have tons of food/liquor options... I don't remember the whiskey bar, however I was also gunned at the time. I've seen thousand dollar mins in there before... Played with a guy with four stacks of chips worth 25k each. It's a little ridiculous in my opinion unless you are some saudi oil king dude.

Sounds kind of like what I expected. Any real reason to go in there besides being able to say you've been?

There a lot more entertaining things to do in Vegas. I really do not understand the point of high stakes gambling. I'm talking 10-20g's / hand kind of stuff. Unless you have billions, there's no reason why your net-worth can't plummet to zero in one night.

I played a 10k blackjack hand fresh out of university & ended up pushing. Most retarded moment of my life.

I walked in with a colleague who was well-known amongst the people in there. I'm pretty sure joe blow can't just stroll on in though.

Joe blow can stroll thru , as long as he can afford to play, at least that was the impression I got. I asked once, considered playing there, chose not to. They were nice and invited us in to take a look around.

Yeah there's a big sign on the wall/door that say's "Talon Club - Open to the public". I would have gone in last time I was there but I stumbled on it on my last day and didn't really have time. Although 5-10k hands aren't really my style (read: can't afford), more like in the 200 dollar range when I want to play big.

Agreed, but if they do have self-serve bar, that is worth walking in for alone!

i popped in there last time i was at cosmo (its right off the 2nd floor east tower elevators). its kinda small, kinda claustrophobic, and was kinda dead. carta privada at aria is MUCH better.
