  • Any luck for Craps players comps?

Any of you play craps at actually get room offers? I just started playing this last trip and did really well rated with an Avg bet of $60 over 3 hours of play. Obviously not expecting anything from such a small amount of hours but plan on heading back in December and my wife and I plan on playing about 9-10 hours of craps during the trip with an avg bet between $60-100. This is not counting Odds bets since they don't count those towards comps.

Also where is the best place for craps players to get comps? TR, Mlife, Cosmo?

I think if you're going to get much in the way of comps for craps (or other table play) you'll need to contact a host ahead of time rather than just rely on the pit boss to rate your play and hope for the best. My wife and I haven't drastically increased our total amount we gamble per trip over the past few years, but I have been playing more slots lately, I never used to.

Now we are getting comp room offers. When I played only tables we never got anything more that the "tier discount" for mLife.
Typically we take about $2500-3000 for both of us on a 3 night trip.

I'd call around if I were you (and if you aren't heavily invested into a players program yet). Cosmo is trying hard to attract gamblers...they seem to be trying harder than mLife at the moment. Just call and ask to speak with a casino host and tell them
what you're planning to play and see what they say. Even if they don't offer a comp right off the bat, at least you'll have their attention and be more likely to get a comp on your next trip. Worth a shot anyway...
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I mostly play craps at about the same level as you, generally rated in the $75-100, range, and consistently get offers for a free night or two from Mandalay Bay and Mirage (which are the hotels I tend to stay and gamble at the most, although I've been on an Aria kick lately). I consistently get nothing but emails about Zappos gift cards from Cosmopolitan; allegedly they're trying to do a better job attracting gamblers, but I'll believe that when I see it.

I only play craps & I get a continuous comp at the Venetian/Palazzo. I'd say my avergae bet is $50 and play time is about 4-5hrs/day

craps are rated pretty poorly overall. i would put it in the same category as black jack and baccarat. not to say you cant't get comps but in comparison to other games it will not be as generous for equal play.
