I love betting MMA fights. (Mostly UFC. Also Bellator and Strikeforce) I do fairly well, too. Anybody else here wager MMA?

I did when I saw UFC 146 at the MGM back in May. A friend of mine follows the sport closely and is pretty good. He called (IIRC) 11 of the 12 fights on the card that night, including a few that were not the favorites. Sadly, we didn't put money on all those.

That was one of the worst nights of betting I've ever had. I bet on 11 fights, and only won 6 of them. Lost big on 5, like the Jason Miller fight, where he should have easily won, but the idiot was fighting with a bum knee. Barboza losing was a huge upset. Props to your friend if he had Varner picked.

I went 8 out of 10 on the last UFC. Shoulda been 9 out of 10, but judges robbed Reza Madadi. Dude clearly won he fight.
