  • If you had to gamble at just one place on Fremont Street?

If you could only go to one spot on Fremont St to gamble, where would you go? Looking for low table minimums, a fun and not scary crowd, and hopefully food options!

I'm not a big fan of Downtown, but I go there once in awhile. If I were to hang out anywhere there and gamble. It would be Golden Nugget.

Yeah I would have to agree with that. Although it is downtown so you can bounce around to different spots pretty quickly if youre unhappy with where youre at.

I think The Plaza would be my second place vote. I would not stay there, but they did do some serious remodeling.

The website showed no pics of any part of the property, but Yahoo images showed the rooms and they looked nice.

Yeah I just looked at there are basically zero pics of this multi-million dollar renovation.
There are probably a bit of smoke and mirrors involved here, but I still wanna check it out.
The rooms do look comfortable though.

its actually pretty nice, they scored the furnishings that were targeted for the Fountinblue (F7)...so from the pics I've seen the rooms look pretty nice.

Went downtown in September on a Friday night - Golden Gate is a good solid choice to gamble. Pretty fun crowd, and most dealers dressed up like party pit cow girls - it's a plus.

Plaza *is* much nicer - casino area is nice, can't speak for the rooms, though. Also a place called "Island Sushi & Hawaiian Grill" - food is pretty legit, if you wanna know what Hawaii locals eat.
