  • Wynn table mins

I stopped there this past weekend and when we walked around the table games looking for a possible 10 or 15 min blackjack table we had no luck. Now I kind of figured we would not find one, but what we found was 1 $25 table, several $50 and a lot of $100 and $200 mins. This was not high roller section either, this was right next to the penny slots. That place is unbelievable when it comes to mins. Basically, I cannot play table games at Wynn.

it really depends on the time you take your walk around the casino floor. prime time it'll be hard to find tables $50 and below. But if you walk around early morning like around 4AM-11AM you'll for sure find a couple $25 tables. Table minimums go up when everyone wants to play, but when people are busy doing other things, table minimums go down to get more players.

Another suggestion is if you want $25 tables, just walk over to palazzo, there's plenty of $25 tables throughout the day
2013 Calendar: March 20-21 (Treasure Island). May 24-27 (Cosmopolitan). June 23-25 (Mirage). July 18-22 (Cosmopolitan).
    Next Trips: RETIRED.

Completed: (2012): mAyOD 2012 Invasion! (Palazzo). July 20-22 (Cosmopolitan). Dec 21-23 (Palazzo).
    (2011): December 30-January 2(Palazzo). April 22-24(Venetian). May 13-15(Venetian). mAyOD 19-23(MonteCarlo). June 24-26(Aria). July 29-31(Bally's). August 19-21(PH Towers @ Westgate). October 14-16 (Aria).

It was primetime no doubt. Around 8 on a Saturday night, I thought it was funny walking around and saying "nope that's 100 min, not this one it's 200, oh there is a 50 but it's 3 deep". And as far as craps, mostly 50 mins, I think there was one 25

I complained about this in another thread I started. I'm new to craps, and I really don't get why they have same table minimums as other table games like Blackjack. In my experience, most players have multiple bets on the table and are a few times the table limit. Common craps strategies often have you doing 3+ bets at once. I expected it to be more like Roulette where you combine your inside bets or outside bets to make the minimum.

Generally I would not play craps unless you plan on starting with 20x the min. Obviously 10 min I would start with 200. So in order to play at Wynn I would be starting with a grand and I am not willing to lose a grand in 30 mins at a craps table.
