Does anyone knows if the ones at Vegas (Monte Carlo) have all these rules in the No Commission Baccarat?

Im pretty excited, it looks like i found something to do with my insomnia while in Vegas. From 1-5 am it is perfect for me

The no commish table I played at Monte Carlo had the dragon bet or whatever...good to know the difference in odds...I still murdered the house that night. I'm guessing the Player bet must have been hitting a lot, I was a bit buzzed and having a blast. There was no strategy involved whatsoever.

          Dont Overlook Baccarat

I am all about laying the 4 and 10. Mathematically they are going to hit less anyway. I keep them working on the CO which covers my dont come bet if the 7 hits.
Like you said thats when 7 is more likely to pop up anyway since people are shooting and expecting it.

              Wrong thread???

My boss, a high roller, only plays this game, he swears by it. He says he plays mostly because he is more entertained by the people at the table than the actual game. Every time I've see a table (outside of LV) it's always really high limit or jammed. This is another game where everyone is yelling Monkey! If I see a spot on my upcoming trip I'll probably give it a go.

I've plaid enough black jack and watched enough baccarat to know what it means. No matter how much I play it still amuses me how animated people get when they have a big bet on the table and are banging on the table and yelling "MONKEY!"

A great game to play, especially for novices. I turned $50 into $500 in no time on my first Vegas trip.

Anyone know of any other casinos on the strip that have the dragon bonus? Been to Caesars, Paris, PH, and Cosmo and none had the bonus.

I know Monte Carlo does, pretty sure Aria did as well.

Sounds like something I will give a try. I am going to download an iPad app before giving it a spin with actual dollars. Thanks Chuck.

There are 3 tables of Baccarat,

Mini Bac- BJ sized table, you don't touch the cards
Midi Bac- Larger than BJ table, usually in high limit room, players touch the cards
Full sized Bac- big table, 3 dealers, last time I say one was Borgata in AC 3 years ago.

All games follow the same standard Bac rules and you don't have to know them to play. For instance in Midi Bac, the person who bets the most on Player will be given the (2) player cards and then flips them over(some take a while to accomplish this). Next the person who bets the most on Banker will be given the (2) Banker cards and clips them over. Naturals win or cards are drawn and given to the same players who initially played the hand according to the rules. Rules are easily available via Google.

As far as no commission Bac it usually revolves around some silly rules. Last table I say like this was at Harrah's Rincon San Diego which had the Dragon 7 and Panda 8 bets. As a rule, side bets are always bad, period.

I've played Midi Bac at Mandalay and Aria. Mandalay is usually $100 min and Aria has been $100 or $300 on up min. Aria had Player Pair and Banker Pair side bets. See attached pic. rollin.jpg

                            Any questions just ask.

Finally sat down and played this glorious game last month, was Chinese New Year time so all the mins were high ($100) especially at Bellagio, just played at the simple mini table on the floor. Started with just $100 on "player" to see how the night would go, walked away with $600 after a little "player" streak! Found my elusive $500 chip Chuck!

Def look out for it next time when mins are little lower preferably.

The previous time I went to vegas when I was over 21 I stayed well away from any form of gambling other than one night when I pitched in 10 dollars with my 2 mates and we won our entry plus 1 round of drinks on roulette and blackjack. I am interested in trying this though when I go this time, if there's no one else at the table is coin flip the best source of advice as to what to bet on? I've read abit about the game and it says that you should always bet banker majority of the time
