I recently received an email from a Casino Host at the property where I usually play. I've never used/had a casino host before so I'm at a loss of what I'm supposed to do next.
The email says:

My name is -- and I’m your new and personal casino host at the -- hotel! I wanted to introduce myself as well as invite you out for a couple of complimentary nights and gifts at our hotel! It would be wonderful to meet you in person.

Let me know when you would like to join us for a fun indulging getaway full of exciting gaming and restaurant experiences.

Do I just email back letting the host know that I already have my next trip booked and text or call the host after I get there? I'm completely unsure about how this whole process is supposed to work, what I'm supposed to do and what they're supposed to do. Haha Help me!

I'd for sure email them now about your upcoming trip. For all you know they'll offer other comps to you during your stay. Or just simply leave the offer out there for another stay. Let us know how it works out.

You must have a nice bankroll. I'd definitely get in touch with the host(ess) to discuss what they can do for you and build a relationship. Depending on your play you can get show tickets, food and beverage comps, and even bottle service.

No real need to protect the name of the hotel here, but a casino host will basically act as your concierge, and the level you gamble at dictates how much attention you get.

Easy things to ask for are limos to and from the airport, after that you won't see much of your host unless you need something specific, like tickets for sold out shows. You'll also meet with the host at the end of your visit to see what he/she can comp.

How much you can get from them is very dependent on your gambling.

I have a question regarding casino hosts. When you are assigned a casino host do they also work off tips to meet your requests?

For example, if I were to call my host and tell them to book me a room at the lowest price/casino rate and tell them to put me in a penthouse suite or something close to that and tell them that I will be sure to "thank you personally" for meeting my requests...does it work the same as the club scenes? (I take care of you and You take care of me)

Whether you win or lose is of no consequence to the host, just how much you wager; though they want you to win so you'll keep playing.

But more importantly, what Casino hosts can *give* you is also based on this number. Before you've even called your host he already knows what room / comps he can give you.

He's not going to risk his job and over-comp you for a couple of hundred.

Now, to help meet and increase your ADT (because I don't have the patience to sit for hours to play, wanting to go drink, party, etc instead since I'm only their on average 2 nights) Will the pit bosses take the gratuities when I sit down and get a couple of thousand dollars in chips and play for like 20 minutes and just have them input in the system that I played for 'X' amount of minutes and made 'X' amount of minimum bet?

Isn't the pit bosses the ones which can increase ADT since they type in the computer how much you buy in for, minimum bet and minutes of playing?

1) You are correct, gratuities will not get you anything extra. I'm sure if you gave enough as a flat out bribe (I will give you $2,000 in exchange for $3,000 in comps) it may work, but they are risking their livelihood and scamming a casino is one of the stupidest moves a person can make. It doesn't make sense for them, since at the higher level ($10k for $30k in comps) they will get noticed easily, and at the lower level ($100 for $300 in comps) there's so little money given the consequences of fraud.

2) Pit Bosses don't get tipped, but they can 'increase' their estimate of how much you've played if they like you and they see you tipping the dealers.

Here's an example:
If you play between $100-$200 a hand for say an 50 minutes.

Scenario 1, Pit Boss likes you:
Average bet: $180, time: 1 hr.
Your comps would be $180 x 80 hands/hr x 0.7% (house edge) x 30% (comp back)
= $30 in comps you can expect to get.

But if he instead puts your actual amount ($130, only 50 minutes) then your comps drop from $30 to $18.
