Now don't get me wrong I LOVE women (especially my GF) but when I was single and going to Vegas my top priorities was rocking out like a champ, gambling, and just having a general good time. Also I try not to bring guys that are total downers if one of our crew gets some and he doesnt. A buddy of mine is definitely always got one thing on his mind...I think you guys all know who I'm talking about BUUUUT I will say that he doesn't ruin the good time for the rest of us..in Vegas that is. Locally...that's a different story.

True story: We once went to this pretty crackin bar/club in San Ramon called The Outpost. It's usually got a massive amount of people and a good selection of women. On this night, it happen to be ladies night and we were early on a Wednesday I believe. We arrive, 20 minutes passes and he comes up to me
"Alright lets go, this place is dead" My other buddy and I are like

"Dude its only been 20 minutes and its early, plus there's a bunch of women"

"Naw, lets go, I've talked to every woman in here already and none were receptive". LOL he was dead serious too.

My friends and I discussed this topic a while back and we realized that we get too into partying and having fun and honestly forget about picking up girls sometimes...simple as that.

This thread was exactly what I needed to hear. Vegas trip in one month, and I'm definitely way too focused on the potential hookups. Gotta focus on having fun without the women... and then let the cute and friendly girls join our party if we happen to meet any along the way.

That being said, the tunnel vision worked well for me at a bachelor party in Puerto Rico when I found a cute local at the club. There is a time for fun, and there is a time to make things happen. After the bachelor party, the memories of rocking out get blurred and mixed with other nights of rocking out (thanks to the effects of time and alcohol). But memories of someone in your group leaving the club with an 8 (or better yet, a 5) is the type of shit you can joke with your buddies about forever.

This is true for me too. Don't get me wrong I have a blast when my wife comes out(Vegas or otherwise) but it is a different pace. With the fellas we have the most fun if we just handle us and make sure we have a good time and if any ladies want to join in the fun the more the merrier. If the single guys hook up, that is just a bonus.
