i think just having a better mix of music and venue they will be able to compete that way we can get alot of different type of djs and celebs out like PITBULL!!!

House music is going to go the way of disco....its primarily drug fueled, club music that is largely soulless and vapid. Hip hop is an established, culturally significant genre. Sure, House has center stage right now, but so did reggaeton.

Jet's inferior environment had as much to do with their lack of success than anything. If Marquee focused on hip hop, they would still be number one, based on their look.

cant stand house. luckly non of the clubs around here play it.

I have yet to figure out dancing to house. besides finding a stage to get on and just going with the beat

Correct but they know Vegas is a different market. I asked someone that would know and he said they will play a mix of the three. They also may have multiple rooms with multiple DJ's/music formats, ala Tao, Marquee, etc...

At their Charlotte location of Butter they play hip hop/top 40 in the main room and house upstairs.

One thing you can bank on is a very upscale venue inside. They will do it right and won't cut corners.

Not many proper house DJ's play in Vegas to be fair. People like Roger Sanchez don't get top billing in Vegas. All the thumping squarky squeeky stuff that Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta etc. play is not House at least, not what I would call house.
