  • Wiring Front Money

Do most people wire front money into the casinos? The last trip I made to Vegas I wired money into the casino, and then took money out of my account at the tables to gamble with. My only concern is that the casino made me sign a form that said the money deposited (wired in) was for gaming purposes only. Essentially, they wanted me to deposit my money back at the cage after each gaming session and then wire whatever was left at the end back to my bank. I ignored this and just cashed out after each session so that I’d have cash to spend. Has anyone else done this? Ever have a problem accessing the money for spending rather than gaming?

I just put my money in the cage when I get there....Never had any problem getting to it when I wanted to.

I never thought of doing this, but it seems like a good idea. I dont like the signing of the forms though, sounds a bit shifty.

How much does it cost you to wire the money there?

And does the cage charge any 'handling' or 'holding' fees?

There is no cost to wire, unless you bank charges you one and no fees to hold the money. I think there is a minimum amount, maybe something like 5k.

The reason you have to sign that paperwork is so that your not laundering money. It clears the casino in court if you were. "We made him sign right here that he was going to re deposit his cash." Trust me no one cares if you don't re deposit it.
