  • Need some restaurant ideas for first trip....

Right now we have Lavo, Comme Ca booked. Thinking of Wicked Spoon for a breakfast/brunch.

Ive read some hit or miss on Lavo.

We are looking for Italian, Brazilian, Asian, and anything else...moderate priced.

      Hugo's Cellar

A cool experience is Hugos Cellar at the 4 Queens. Keep in mind the Casino is Dank, but the restaurant is amazing!!! Also $$$$, not cheap

I would check out a place called Zefferinos in the Venetian. Italian, overlooks the canal and they have a 4 course for $25-$30 depending on lunch or dinner. The food is delish and the service and overall experience are wonderful.

I still don't think you can beat Maggiano's for the quality of food relative to price. It's a great view down the strip too!

Get the Classic Family Style set-up, and you can order multiple bottles of wine for your party and still get out of there for like $50-$60 head after tax and tip.

How much is family style at Maggianos? Has anyone tried Shibuya?

Half that time I've eaten there it was for business and we had individual meals, the other half everything on the menu was family style.... so if you have 4/5 people you would just order like 2 items and still be stuck with extra food.

... Don't know if you can order single plates unless its a group/event

I've been to Shibuya. It's very, very good, and the atmosphere is cool. I had the omakase (tasting menu), which was around $100. I'd highly recommend it.

Maggianos is $30/head before tax and tip for the Family Style Choices. You get to select 2 salads, 2 appetizers, 2 pastas, and 2 entrees, plus 2 desserts for the table. Everything is bottomless so if you want more of anything after you finish, just ask.

It's the "Classic" choice on the back of the menu - the only way to go.

I love dining in Vegas just as much as I do the clubs. I'm also in the food and wine industry, so I've eaten my way around the city for sure ;-)

Shibuya is great, but Yellowtail is even better for Japanese. A little pricey, but totally worth every penny. Especially if you make friends with the server, they can write you comp passes to The Bank (theres at least 30 dollars pp right there saved.)

Circo at the Bellagio is awesome for Italian food. Not too pricey if you don't order crazy. Share an app or two and have the outstanding house-made pastas. Request a table by the window and be seated right on the Bellagio lake. Best fountain view ever!

Stratta in the Wynn is also reasonably priced and has great food. They're also open till 6 AM on weekends, so its perfect for the post-clubbing munchies...

Olives is nice for lunch and you can sit outside on the patio overlooking the fountains. (Bellagio)
