What we did and who we did it with
Thursday night I arrived right on time and scooped over to Hard Rock. Hard Rock was surprising desolate this trip. I stop by the Casino Tower check in and do not wait in line at all. I do a $50 sandwich and ask to be put in the new tower - HRH Suites for a 2 queen room - no problems.
Get up to the room and the setup is awesome - the suite has two distinct sections and a gigantic bathroom. I switch clothes quickly and hit the taxi stand to head to Venetian. Reached Gary and turns out one of the guys who was in for the table was now out, so I grabbed that spot. We were a little late getting to the Tao table reservation line and that ended up being a huge downfall. Couldn't find Chris Traer anywhere, and was looking for a host named "Mike" for about 30 minutes. A couple of the guys got tired of waiting and cashed in for their money back, which is really odd - it's their Industry night - it's always packed those nights - and as well Public Enemy was there - so perhaps a little patience.
All of our waiting ended up for not, as the host we spoke with said he wouldn't honor our table setup because we were there too late.
Audible - decide to take our crew over to Cathouse where Daryll hooked it up with a Buy 1 Get 1 of Goose and a hookah. Cathouse isn't the flashiest place on the strip, but it's a decent spot and we made the most of an unfortunate situation what with all the drama at Tao.
Around 3 we decide to go back to Tao and walk right in. From there, thinks kinda scattered and I remember going to a Gentlemans club but have no idea which one, how I got there or how I got back to the hotel. I woke up fully clothed sprawled out on the bed with $1 left in my pockets."Bringing a girl to Vegas is like bringing a warm beer to a bar that serves FREE COLD BEERS... and everyone sitting there just spilling Cold Beer all over the place and you have to pretend you just loooove your warm beer." - Andy Haynes

Man up and get a nice bath in before getting ready to meet the crew at Liquid. It was my first trip to Liquid and I must say, it was a blast. Got a text from Gary to ask for "Mark" at the entrance. Turns out the first guy I asked was in fact Mark and I spent all of 5 seconds in line. We had an awesome section with the two daybeds that flanked the DJ booth. The energy at Liquid was great and the weather was perfet. Had guys dressed like Mario and Luigi run around the pool and do a champagne shower for one of the cabanas - then shortly after there was a champagne fire drill in the pool which was a ton of fun. Also, ton of fun is Splash Fights in the pool when everyone gets amped and starts making the pool explode. The DJs at liquid were really great and we had some delish drinks and food. I took off from there at around 3:30 to make it back to HRH as Matty and Big Matt were arriving in from PHX. Around 5 we head down to Pink taco for some grub and drinks and I'm feelin good. We get supplies for pre-game setup in the room and get ready to head to Cosmo.
With the happenings of last nights debacle at Tao well within our memories, we institute a hard cutoff of 9:30 at meet-up spot for our table at Marquee. If you're not there by 9:30, we're gone. We actually beat the opening time by 15 minutes as when everyone was collected at 9:30, we could not check in til 9:45. We send a contingent in with ladies and then cruise up to our table which is outside. It was an ok spot except not very conducive to sitting and taking a load off the feet.
Marquee is the most wicked club I've ever been to - and the place was absolutely rocking with what I can only describe as the largest gathering of beautiful women in my entire life. They were not 10's, they were 12's and 13's. There were even Mermaids - yes, mermaids. We had two bottles that night but we needed it to last a very long time - as EDX wasn't going on til midnight and then EC Twins at about 2:30. Matt, Matt and I stayed til about 2 - we cruised around the club and checked out the Boom Boom Room and the Library, which were okay, a little underwhelming. I shot Mikey T a text about getting into Surrender to see Wolfgang Gartner. No comped entry but we blew past the line - mad props on Mikey T just delivering time and again. Surrender was a blast, Gartner was well into his set and we even ran into Luke Walton and Jordan Farmar. We had some cocktails and introduced the Matts to the AMF. I then proceeded to give back all my previous gambling winnings of that day to a wicked string of $100 min Single Deck Blackjack in the rear of Surrender. Thought is was hilarious that one of the Matts kept referring to the place as "Abandon". We took off after that and worked our way back to HRH, stopped at Mr Luckys for some grub and hit the hay around 5.
That night was all about "F--- the Cab Lines" as we got town cars or limos to take us from here to there."Bringing a girl to Vegas is like bringing a warm beer to a bar that serves FREE COLD BEERS... and everyone sitting there just spilling Cold Beer all over the place and you have to pretend you just loooove your warm beer." - Andy Haynes

Fast forward to about 9:30-10 when we all wake up. First thing we decide is that we're never ordering AMFs ever again, and if one of us tries to order them, we each have the permission to smack the he'll out of wherever tries. Second thing that we decide is that there's no way we can make it to Marquee Day Club.
I order room service - omelets, fruit plates, fruit smoothies and Powerade. Boom, we're ready to go.
We quickly get ready and have to race over to make it to Marquee Day Club before 12:30 for the Comped Admission - we get there right in the Knick of time and need to collect 3 girls to walk in with us. I'm not feelin' 100% so I had no Game whatsoever - I could not even talk "5's" into getting into a day club they were already lined up to go to and pay for, for free. Everyone said "oh we're waiting for someone whos getting us in" makes me wonder if anybody at that club actually paid admission. On the other hand, Big Matt then takes his turn and hits gold on the first attempt. It didint take too long after that to get in. I do have to admit, the job of a clubs rope runner is not for me - these guys have the patience of a saint and need to be spot-on 100% of the time.
Marquee Day Club was, in a word, strict. There were pockets of dancing and fun, and I did start up the first Splash Fight, but it was really strict. You couldnt bring drinks into the water which was horrible because it was hotter than hell out thus I spent about 95% of my time in the water. Again, Marquee Day Club came through with the same level of "talent" as they did the previous night, but the advantage here was that the talent was wearing about 80% less clothing. Gary and the AOD Crew again came up with prime real estate, a Daybed right on the pool. The DJs were good but there were a couple times where I could swear I had heard only beats, no words or lyrics, for 40 minutes straight - it kinda dragged. There were no Champagne fire drills or anything like that. It was crazy packed there - largely because Markus Schulz was Djing, and there were some celebs in the mix - one of the guys from Glee (forgot his name - John something?) and Kaley Cuoco from Big Bang theory.
I took off around 3:30 - again - as I was pretty exhausted. Went back to HRH and vegged out a bit. The Matts got back to the room around 6ish and we get ready to head to dinner at Boa, then to Tryst. Matty says that a lady friend of his is on her way up from PHX - so we add that to the itinerary. We take off to Boa around 7:30 and make our way to Caesars / Forum Shoppes. I could tell by the tunsge at Boa that we should have gone to STK instead as the music in Boa made us practically fall asleep at the table. That woudlnt have happened at STK. We grubbed up, which was very good, and finished around 9:15. We then go to the Forum Shoppes Cab Stand and we're 3rd in line - not bad we think, but there are zero cabs coming. After waiting 15 min and no cabs, I say "I know where to go" and lead the Matts back into Caesars - where we proceed to get lost - for about 30 minutes. We finally get outside and there's plenty of cabs, but, about 100 people in line. At this point we need to make it to Hard Rock Hotel and then to Wynn in like 20 minutes on Saturday Night on the strip - impossible."Bringing a girl to Vegas is like bringing a warm beer to a bar that serves FREE COLD BEERS... and everyone sitting there just spilling Cold Beer all over the place and you have to pretend you just loooove your warm beer." - Andy Haynes

Enter Gerhart to the conversation. I say "F--- the cabs" again and find Gerhart, a driver for Embassy - we load into his Escalade ESV and take off. I negotiate two stops and Gerharts on board. We make it over to HRH in about 10 minutes and drop Matty off to pick up Kristina who has been waiting for a while, so Matty and her hang back so she can change and Big Matt and I say "Gerhart, to the Wynn!". What occurred then was, kid you not, the 2nd most fun I've ever had in a limo. We ask Gerhart to pop on some music and he says "I'll do ya one better - he throws in a DVD of 5.1 Channel Videos and just let's this stereo loose - the ground is shaking around the Escalade and Matt and I are just hanging out the windows jamming to of all things, J-Lo and Pitbull - Get on the Floor. There are cabs around us full of girls and partiers that are just going nuts - we're literally s moving dance club. We fly into Wynn and meetup with Juan "Jaunito" and get in the queue. We're about 30 minutes late for our Resi at Tryst that we made through Anthony Connelly - Anthony was at XS so just grabbed a host off the line - "Matt" from Madison, WI takes us to our table which was a really great location just up from the dance floor. We had the space to ourselfs for a bit until a group of - literally - 15 people came into the same size space next to us and we were incredibly packed. That - 15 people in a space for 4 - should not happen and the security did an okay job of trying to keep them in their space, but it was really futile. We cruised through our bottle and just was fed up with the crowding in our area, so Juan and I start planning next venue. I text Anthony to see if we can grab a bottle at XS - it's gonna be tough. I shoot. Message to ***** Sweet to see about Vanity, and it's right when they're getting slammed so nothing really open. Juan and I were looking for some EDM so we start brainstorming - hmm, Rain, Surrender, Marquee? Hey, Howabout Saville Row? ***** Sweet got back right quick and we could do a b1G1 at Saville. Ok, decision made - let's go check out this "Exclusive" small spot. I thnk we should go in style, so I call Gerhart again and as luck would have it he was just pulling up to the Wynn - jackpot. We all hop back in the limo and say "Gerhart, you know what to do.". And again, night club on wheels! There's less traffic heading down to Luxor so we are flying down there - I gotta guess that Gerhart gets maybe 4 miles per gallon the way he was driving. We pull up to the entrance of Saville, which is the Noir Entrance / uber-VIP entrance. ***** has me chat with Bobby Lessany, who was extremely awesome and helpful. We get in and have a great, spacious table, which was such a welcome from what we had just experienced at Tryst. Saville Row, it's small - as if carved into the under dwellings of LAX. The service - some of the best I've received. The music is EDM but really this is a spot to come to after 4am - and we were outta steam by 4am. Another cool thing about Saville is you can waltz into LAX at your convenience as there's an elevator that takes you right to it. We went and checked LAX out, which was packed because Snooki and JWoww were there and, somehow, they attract a large crowd. LAX was hopping with Top 40/ hip hop - we figured there'd be more "fist pumping" music. After the crowd surges on the dance floor, we decide to get back to our comfy surroundings. Not only had the hostesses taken care of preserving our liquid, but they had a few of their lady friends waiting at the table. We start looking at the bottles and we're barely denting things. I think we got close to finishing the bottle of Belvedere but we had a whole bottle of Skyy left. I text Bobby to see if he can help recruit some ladies / drinkers to help and within minutes, Bobby is at the table saying "I got a group of 12 ladies here to join you". They trailed in, but I don't know, maybe one of us creeped out the first girl because after we intro'd a few, they just left. It wasn't necessarily A bad thing because they had their own bottle so that would have just added to the cause. Bobby apologized for the abrupt move by the ladies but no harm done and he was going to look for some others to join. By this time, Matty and Kristina had headed back to HRH and Big Matt and I were getting reallllllly tired. We talk it over with Juan and he's going to take control of the bottles and hang, so as Matt and I leave we look back and see that already there were more ladies at the table. Good for you, Juanito.
I slept for about 2 hours and woke up, looked at the flight sched and decided it was time for me to bounce, so caught an earlier flight back home. I missed going to Wet Republic, again, but I made the right call - Vegas had exhausted me.
The last text I got from Matty before boarding was "Big Matts puking, I'm dizzy and about to pass out, Kristina is having a blast""Bringing a girl to Vegas is like bringing a warm beer to a bar that serves FREE COLD BEERS... and everyone sitting there just spilling Cold Beer all over the place and you have to pretend you just loooove your warm beer." - Andy Haynes

We were mostly ready to walk in around 10pm and get our table - and people on the guest list got right in. The issue was that two of our table joiners were about 30-40 min late so by the time we got up to the Table Reservation Queue it was absolutely jammed.Originally posted by dnix View Postsounds like you had some bottle service woahs. glad you can make the best of it. just curious, what time did you get to Tao?
Had it been 30 minutes prior, and we could have dealt directly with Chris instead of the other doorman (whom which I did not get his name), would have been no problem."Bringing a girl to Vegas is like bringing a warm beer to a bar that serves FREE COLD BEERS... and everyone sitting there just spilling Cold Beer all over the place and you have to pretend you just loooove your warm beer." - Andy Haynes

haha that night on Thursday was so not even Chris Traer's fault either... All my deals require prompt entry. Compare that vs how everyone got their shit together for Marquee and we partied like bosses. I have been to Tao before, and no way we were going to get that pimp location (Center stage outside daybed) like we would at Marquee where we in the middle of the party! We would be at the top level, and people would have to run down stairs just to get a glimpse of P.E.

Man it was so awesome to meet ya! You handle your own shit, and def don't back down from challenges. You lasted 70% of the trip which is def elite status in my books! Also Wet/XS/Relax Mondays ended up being a pure house shuffling fest.
The only thing you missed was - bikini bottoms getting pulled down to the ass cheek level for FMIF tatoos, dimes coming to XS in a dress and then getting in lingerie style undies and bra and jumping in the pool... Monday, an entire cabana shared between Mike B and I. It was ok, thats why they call it Relax. Def a pleasure to meet up and we gotta do it again!

Hell yeah, Gary - it was a blast. What a fun time hanging with you, Gio, Mike, Juan, Ola, Sammie, Drew and all the ladies!
Next time I'm spacing things out a bit to allow time for massages/relaxation in between."Bringing a girl to Vegas is like bringing a warm beer to a bar that serves FREE COLD BEERS... and everyone sitting there just spilling Cold Beer all over the place and you have to pretend you just loooove your warm beer." - Andy Haynes
