XS Table Cost 10 people

Hi All,

I am looking at hiring a table for 10 people next Saturday and need some advice! Ive been told there is a 3 bottle minimum for outside, and $3k minimum for inside.

So, to make sure Im on the right track (before asking for the $ upfont!) if we choose to go for the outside table with a 3bottle minimum, would my price be:

3 x bottles at $495 = $1,485
Tax (8.1%) & Gratuity (20%) = $417
Host fees of $50 p/p = $500
Total = $2400

Does that sound right?

That $500 tip is too high, especially for an outdoor table. If you're willing to tip that much I would ask the host to try to get you a better location. Otherwise, $300 would be plenty.

Pretty accurate. Normally its about $75 to the host, but with 10 people it really shouldn't matter alot.

Good point, I didn't catch the outdoor thing. I was assuming indoors.

So I should drop the host tip down to $300 for the outside table and if we decide to foot the $3k minimum, then give $500 OR give $500 and ask for a better table location with the same minimum...

Regarding the host tip, I've heard to tip right away and I've also heard to tip once they get you to your table and settled and you are happy with your table. I'm assuming the best is to tip right when you meet outside the club. I'm assuming a tip outside and the host can discreetly tell how much the tip is and then pick you a table spot is how it usually works.

Take that money and buy an extra bottle IMO, 3 bottles for 10 people isn't enough unless you are day partying.
