Need Information Las Vegas

Hello everyone! I'm going to Las Vegas for the first time. Arrives in Las Vegas 08 october 2011. Travel from Norway (scandinavian) and need some information about night life etc. Have seen on the internet from Wet Republic, and wonders if it is open in october?. Where can I buy the ticket, etc. .. As I said, I have never been to Las Vegas or the United States before, so I'm happy for all the information I get.

I Like to have fun, so all information about,nightclubs, bars, pool party and hotels would be appreciated.
