  • Bro's 21st Birthday with Fam, all out clubs or ultra lounges?

I have been reading through JC forums and there is so much great information here, you guys rock!

Now for a bit of a different question...

My family is heading to Vegas this week, 18th-21st, to celebrate my little brother turning 21! (Finally)

We obviously want to hit up clubs, but my parents want to tag along too. (We don't mind) They are super fun and young. I mean hell, we are going to Vegas on a family trip. But because of this, I think I might have ruled most of the traditional "it" clubs out of the mix. Am I right about this? I know marquee is out, etc. But I was thinking some of the wynn clubs maybe? Bottle service is a possibility. We aren't into waiting in line anywhere or being shoved around a club. So maybe champagne bottles so we don't have to commit to a spot for too long? Would it be a two bottle minimum for 5 people this Friday night August 19th? Can you do just one bottle at any of the clubs?

We are thinking about getting a limo for the night for the club hopping. We don't want to have to deal with cabs and we figure we will keep some booze in the limo. Do most limo companies tie anything in with the clubs? like cutting to the front of the line? We don't want to get roped into one of those VIP party bus cheesy thingies, but I didn't know if some of the limo companies had "deals" with some of the clubs or lounges for their all night reserved clients.

If your reply to this is "your parents will feel out of place or wont let them in". Would you suggest ultra lounges? Any of them better than the rest? I have heard some good things about Chandelier Bar and Parasol Down, thoughts on those?

    Thanks

Depends on what your parents are like. My first thought is vodoo lounge. Great view and they definitely would feel out of place and you would still have fun. Ghostbar and moon also have great views, but probably not as much of a mixed crowd.

My parents are very fun. They usually go to Vegas once or twice a year. They stay at wynn or mirage. I know they've gone into BARE before. A while back when Club Paris opened in Orlando (and was a big deal) I went a couple of times with my Dad and did bottle service, we had a blast. My Step mom is a bit younger (but still much older than me) and can wear club clothes no problem. My dad and step mom were always the "fun" parents to go out with when they came up to tallahassee to visit for football games or to help me pack and move. It was never weird for me to have them around, even in strictly college age bars. They are always fun, dance, drink, wear appropriate attire, etc.

I just know some clubs might not let us in. We are 3 girls to 2 guys. I am looking for some suggestions that might just be a good vibe for us.

A few friends who have been to vegas more than me have suggested voodoo lounge too. So I think it's making the list for sure.

At Palms we have 4 nightclubs. I would recommend doing bottle service in Ghostbar or Playboy (smaller, more ultralounge type of feel). With bottle service you're going to get VIP access to all 4 of our clubs for the night. You can get a table in Ghostbar and also check out Moon and Rain (bigger nightclub atmosphere) and Playboy- all in the same building.

Shoot me a text at 7742392118 and i'd be happy to set your family up with us or answer any questions.

I say go for whichever club your brother wants to go to since it's his 21st birthday and thus the reason you guys are going out there!!

I have young parents (my step-mom is only 10 years older than me and my dad had me at a young age) and they like to party and are a BLAST to go out with. We recently went to Vegas with them and they joined with us when we went to Tao. They were not intrusive and fit in just fine.

Sooo go wherever you guys want to go, have a freaking great time, and who cares what other people think!!!

                I agree completely.

It doesnt sound like your parents would want to compromise your brother's birthday, so why not go all out and do what he wants to do? Why go to a less than ideal spot, just to make them comfortable?

In addition, your parents will not feel out of place at Marquee....I was just there two weeks ago, and I saw plenty of old people.

Im pretty sure your parents wouldn't mind going where ever in order to make sure their son had a great time in Las Vegas. If you are really wanting to go to a crazy club from Thursday - Sunday, I would recommend Tao Nightclub on Thurs, Trsyt on Fri, Marquee on Sat, and The Bank on Sunday.

For ultra lounges I would recommend Blush on Thursday, Ghost Bar on Friday or Saturday, and Vanity on Sunday. These ultra lounges are not as crazy as the nightclubs, but they still are really fun.

Was your brother trying to hit up any day clubs too? Im just asking cuz day drinking is always a good time plus it helps the hangover tremendously. Haha.
