  • Stripper Contracts

Hi, I just wanted to know if Las Vegas strippers (in the stripping clubs) have a two week contract to work? Or is it just the brothels that they do this?

The reason for asking is that my friends daughter has told her parents that she's been stripping in Las Vegas on a two week contract, then comes home and goes back for another two weeks to work. They would like to know if this is true.

Sorry, if this is the wrong place to post this but I didn't know where to put this question. I would appreciates anybodies help on this, thank you.

Not that I know of. But my stripper friends retired a while ago. I could be wrong.

WOW.....no idea. But a traveling stripper is not uncommon. Strippers travel to Dayton for the Dayton 500. The clubs need the additional help on that weekend.

I know a couple strippers at the Rhino and from what I understand they can more or less work when they want. Once they are hired by the club are assigned a shift and can show up to work that shift whenever they want but just have to stay for the duration of that shift.

I know clubs that do that here in Philly. They bring them in during the busy times or covering vacations by other girls. When I got out of college my first roommate was a dancer. Full time. We had an on call girl stay with us twice. Both times where about two weeks.

Once during christmass - new years once during memorial day weekend, back to school. But it wasn't as frequent as it sounds like yours is.

Strippers do travel, how do I know this well one of my good friends used to date one and i had to hangout with lot of strippers lol And many of them were traveling between Las Vegas - Scottsdale- Albuquerque triangle. So i believe clubs in different towns can hire them on weekly or two weeks contract basis.

So she is probably telling the truth.

there is absolutely no contract with dancers and the clubs. when they are hired they are allowed to work certain shifts, but there is definitely no "2 week contract" at any strip clubs in town. that is a rule for brothels (which are not in Las Vegas or anywhere in Clark County). Girls at strip clubs come and go as they please, some will work actual schedules (that they set themselves), some will work whenever they feel like they want some extra money.

I've spoken to a few strippers as well and what ***** said is exactly what they told me. ( I wasn't sure to believe them because you know all strippers are single moms and what not )

I really really doubt her story. I know for a fact that OG , Sapphire , SR, and Treasures don't have a two week contract.

Strip clubs do not want to treat dancers as employees. There are lots of benefits of them being independent contractors. A "two week contract" is sounding like an employee employer relationship and no strip club would want that.

Her parents confronted her last week about the issue and after too many tears. She confessed about it being in a brothel. Her parents are completely devastated. She said that she won't go back and is now seeing a counselor with her parents.

Her parents told me to say this so you guys, if you know the owners of the brothels in Nevada to tell them to do the right thing when hiring and verify, PLEASE. It wouldn't have gotten this far if they would have verified their employees. She was under age 17 years old and undocumented. Her parents won't be doing anything about it legally because of the embarrassment, they just want to move on.

Thanks for all the information and help.

Might be another part of the story missing. I would think those guys would follow laws to a T to not get any negative press or unwanted traffic that could scare customers alway.
