  • Greasing Bouncer @ Tier 1 Club

Hey guys, I am going to Scottsdale from Nov 25-28th (Watching the Canucks) and thought it'd be fun to drive to Vegas Sat afternoon for an all-nighter and drive back in the early morning.

I don't think we're planning on getting too shitfaced and I'm not interested in doing Bottle Service.

There will be 5 of us (guys)
How much do you think will it cost per head including line bypass and cover for a Tier 1 club and how would it be broken down? (i.e. How much to bouncer, how much for cover, do I need to pay host? etc)

Is this something that can be arranged with a host or do they only deal with Tables?

    Thanks everyone.

P.S. I heard this road trip can be done in 4 hrs. Has anyone done it?

First call the club to ask if they have a " guest list " but that might not work (can't hurt though). Regardless, prepare to pay full cover and an extra $20 or $30 per head. Full cover before tip should be $30 to $50 depending on the venue. And you don't need to take care of a host unless you're doing bottle service.

I would do $100 for the line by pass for 5 guys, then just pay cover. I think thats cheaper then $50 a head and sometimes you might not even get the comp slip. Throw the offer out there before you just hand it off. If you want to be super smart about it, use one of our hosts here and see what they can do for you.

        Thanks for your help guys.
It looks like 20 + cover per head is the norm.

Gary, I'll def use one of the hosts on this site. I'll text them closer to the date.

I live in Phoenix and I have driven to Vegas several times. Realistically, you're probably looking at 5 hrs and 15 min. Often times there are pockets of traffic (getting out of Scottsdale & near the Hoover dam) and some speed trap areas (read the town of Wickenberg) that will slow you down.

This past NYE I made it in 4hrs but I was hauling ass and was lucky not to hit any traffic, but on average it will take 5hrs. If you want to beat the traffic try to leave early in the morning.

Thanks for the warning about the speed traps in Wickenberg. Is there anywhere else I should slow down?

There is an app/gps update that people can upload/post common speed trap areas. I've never used it - but have read about it

Hehehe - yeah, I helped develop one of those apps. Luckily I sold the code a few years back as the DOJ / DHS has recently claimed theyre illegal and have thus been taking most of them off iTunes.

I still get residuals from their sale on Jailbroken phones (thanks Cydia)
