Wondering whats the differences between regular bottles & magnums..?

From what I read, magnums are double the size of regular bottles.. however the prices are double as well? Or have I been misled miserably??

Magnums are 1.75L and regular bottles are 1L, unless its Tao then i believe they are 750ML with lowered prices

Bottles at Marquee are 750 as well... And are about 495 a pop.

So, please correct me if I'm wrong, IF I go clubs that sells regular bottles @ 750ml, and I decided to buy a magnum which doubles the price of its regular bottle, the benefit I would get is the extra 250ml.

and IF I go clubs that sells regular bottles @ 1L, and I decided to buy a magnum which doubles the price of its regular bottle, the net lost for me is the 250ml.

$375 (weekday) - Going to use oz. for numbers because its easier to picture 1oz. (a shot).

$375 gets you:
750ml bottle = 25.35 oz - 25 light drinks or 12.5 "doubles" -14.8 $/oz.
---- or assuming 1 shot/oz. per drink = $15 per drink
or
1 littler bottle = 33.8 oz. - 33 light drinks or 16.5 "doubles" - $11.09$/oz.
---- or assuming 1 shot/oz. per drink = $11.36 per drink

$700 for a magnum on a weekday
1.75 magnum = 59.15 oz. - 60 light drinks or 29.5 "doubles" - 11.8$/oz.
---- or assuming 1 shot/oz. per drink = $11.66 per drink

... like you said, if the club is using .750 bottles then a magnum is a better deal (if you planned on two+ bottles), if the club uses 1liter bottles its basically like $.50 extra a drink - but my thought is you're more likely to get a deal (say B1g1) if you buy a magnum.

Sounds right to me What I do is I always ask before I order so I can get the most ML for my dolla.

same with XS/Tryst. regular goose bottles are 1L except for patron, that's 750ml for sure
